Hi, does anyone here have any opinions on Final Crisis: Legion of 3 Worlds? Is it good or necessary reading for Blackest Night (return of Superboy, etc)? I enjoy George Perez, but not Final Crisis....

it was fun and way better then final crisis, IMHO, but its probably not super relevant unless you like superboy prime...Johns did some really cool things with the idea though...i'd say get it...

I think the Legions themselves took an unfortunate backseat once Johns' favorite Teen Titans showed up, but it was still a lot of fun. It did a good job of keeping all three unique Legions relevant and (mostly) intact, too. The only things that I didn't like much were the XS retcon and the fact that Triad never did anything prominent. It's a good read, I'd recommend it.

Most unintentionally hilarious moment: Duo Damsel reveals that she's now Duplicate Damsel and can create as many copies of herself as she wants instead of just two. Bouncing Boy then comments that they've been on their second honeymoon and she adds that can't believe she ever got that much done with only two of her. *coughs*

Legion of Three Worlds was the best out of all the FC series. The ending was awesome. Creepy too.

Superboy Prime's fate at the end was hilarious. What makes it even funnier, is the fact that DC actually has someone on their board, posting as Superboy Prime.

Yep. Bought this sucker just because I wanted to see Perez draw every damn Legionnaire ever. It pretty much delivered.

I liked the idea of Superboy-Prime inspiring the Legion of Super-Villains, but overall did not care much for the story. John's writing just is not my thing, so I pretty much ignore him. Can't ignore Mr. Perez, though, ever.

Really? That is awesome! I should go check out that board.

Which issue # is this (I have not been following Adventure Comics)? I love the Superboy-Prime character, and got a huge kick out of him in this series.

Man, I just burned through the trade, and I heart Superboy-Prime. I absolutely love everything Johns done with the character. I really want a DCUC figure now.

    "I'm in the stupid future."...classic.
