I think the "those sqweemish, stay away." threw me off a little, was expecting some gore.

I think you'll agree now, making these look real isn't as easy as you may have thought.

There are pretty huge limitations as you now know and can see for yourself.
Looks like you opted for paint instead of damage in some areas, and it is sort of everywhere isn't it ?
I love that smushed side mirror !
Are you gonna do any damage to the front bumper/BB's chest ? - the most likely area to get damaged fighting in either mode.(horizontal part inbetween to 2 grills & 2 sets of lights)
Maybe try doing another one of these with an Alternator or a Classics fig. and it'll truly be your own story that you follow, not something we've all seen in the movie - this custom seems to pop up every 5th day or so, between here & eBay anyway.

actually TTT, it may just be the pictures, but it's not just paint. i actually used sandpaper to kill the shine of the "new" plastic, and used a dremmel and heat iron to add dents, scrapes,and shell damage. i didn't do all the damage you suggested because this figure is based on the movie, regardless of how many figures pop up just like it, and in the movie, BB didn't have massive chest damage. When i find a scale tow truck, his legs will be blown off. i purposly want this to be based on the movie, not my own concept, but thanx for the suggestions.

on another note. if i can get another 09 bb, who wants to see what happens when movie bumblebee meets 25th ann G.I.Joe? ( a la 1980's cross over)

lol I'm up here in Canada too but I guess 08 bb is scarce right now in the Toronto area, but thanks I'll take my time to find one. Hope you get the pick up truck soon to finish the set

Decided i needed to put my BB customs up on the E-bay to buy my new lense. Seeing as what all teh other custom figs have gone for, i hope what im asking for mine is reasonable.
