Again, your logic is faulty because Galvatron was made before he used Bombshell for anything.

I was just thinking about this yesterday after I had watched Webworld. If you go by personality alone, then Cyclonus HAS to be Skywarp. Bombshell was never that loyal to Megatron; he would backstab him and do his own thing with the Insecticons most of the time. However you look at Skywarp, and Skywarp usually showed a great relationship with Megatron. He was loyal and they even seemed to be friends. Cyclonus is the exact same way to Megatron. Naturally, after they had both gotten jettisoned and then reformated together, the events would only strengthen their bond. It was already strong before but now it's even stronger.

Thundercracker is out of the equation on personality because his bio claims him to be nearly an Autobot because of being unsure about the war and the Decepticon cause.

Story wise, it makes the most sense that Skywarp is Cyclonus.

I'm going to have to check the script I have now. It's one of the original drafts completed in April 1985 so it might have it written who becomes who in that scene.

At any rate, until I see somthing concrete, I'm just going to choose to believe that Cyclonus is Skywarp.

You dont consider the fact that the scene was animated pretty much as the storyboard depicts to be "concrete"?

 

Looks like Bombshell to me, since he was in the foreground, which implies the more important character...but for symmetry sake I like to think it was Skywarp.

Storyboayds depict alot of things that end up not being final.

Plus Takara just said Skywarp is Cyclonus in that redeco bio, that's an official statement.

For Hasbro's, they gave the official word years ago with the Wrecker books.

Skywarp became "Armada".

 

I just checked the script and they have nothing on who becomes who other than Megatron>Galvatron. Weird enough though, they original wrote Unicron to be named "Ingestor" LOL. Glad they changed it.

In my mind, Skywarp = Cyclonus and Thundercracker = Scourge.

Why? Because that's how I want it to be. I have no proof, no reason, and don't care if I'm wrong. It's the same reason that in my world, Rumble is blue. It's because that's the way I want it, damn it.

Now, if any of you think differently, then that's great for you.

I don't know why this fandom has such a stick up its ass about everything having to be this one certain way? Why is it that you can't pose and play with your toys without Hasbro or Takara or Sunbow telling you how to do it??? Whatever happened to imagination? Jeez, does this fandom really have to be so "by the numbers" that people start having aneurysms over canon?

If it suits you for freakin' Dai Atlas to become Cyclonus, GO FOR IT. It's your world, squirrel. I'm just tryin' to get a nut.
