Looks like the Space Coast isn't the only place where the Transformers 3 crew is filming. They are down here in Fort Walton Beach doing some filming of the CV-22 Osprey.

Who knows, maybe Bay and co. decided to recycle that design.

hopefully if they did recycle it they made it look less like Blackout/Grindor

would be so sweet to see that in the Chicago Parachute Scene:

*N.E.S.T. jumps from Osprey & as soon as the last jumper exits the plane it flys right over top of them headed straight for the ground battle below transforming in the same style as Optimus' Entrance in ROTF & upon completing the transformation immediately engages in the beginning battle*

Love how the title on that site says PHOTOS and there's none included besides the small promo shots on the right from ROTF.

They used some of the Hurlburt Field crew during the Transformers '07 movie also. It's pretty cool seeing hometown guys get a shot to do something cool or help with something like this. I was born in Fort Walton Beach, FL and lived in Freeport until a few years ago (since then, I've lived in Destin and then moved to Dahlonega, GA and I'm in the process of moving to Canton, GA). I've always been in and around the military bases back in Northwest Florida--my dad used to work at Eglin AFB before he passed away in '03, so to me, it's just cool to see some of the local guys getting a chance to be a part of this.

How tall would that Osprey be in terms of height compared to human height.

Nice to have the Osprey back in the third film again. I have always loved that aircraft. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being Springer since the same thing happened with Arcee.

Since Ospreys are pretty darn big (estimated to be 60ft long), I would have to say that if Springer came into the third movie, he might be about 45ft, maybe 48ft, depends really.

Wow! I feel like going on a vehicle spree here while taking cars, trucks, trains, planes, and spacecraft and estimating how tall the Transformer itself would be. O.O Holy oranges Batman!

As in just recently? Just asking cause that would be funny as hell but also a good thing.
Maybe the Osprey will be part of the Aerialbots or maybe Silverbolt? Just thought of it since we haven't really seen any sign of any aircraft posing as him.

someone over on SFTE has said he saw a scene being filmed where there were 2 C-17's, the Osprey and a white 'Russian-looking' helicopter all set up on a circle with a group of people in the centre..... from what was said, that's not how the USAF park vehicles in a normal situation.

What this could mean.... i don't know.... but it's interesting

Does sound interesting. Makes me wonder if that's the Aerialbots.
But I have to agree with said person. I'm a Navy brat and never seen their planes and helios parked like that, not even on a carrier, which is impossible.

if i'm honest.... not too interested in the C-17's as it would appear from ROTF that NEST's 'normal' deployment is using two of them... but the Osprey and the 'russian-looking' helicopter are interesting to me.... specially after seeing the design for a rejected Osprey Autobot from ROTF

I think since the first movie, they made him as the Leader Illustrator for the designs.
