Okay, I'm currently filling out these "Hasbro Play Rewards" forms to send in for my rebate coupon-- the thing is, they require a 10-digit UPC number for each purchase, and my Wal-Mart and Target receipts don't have these UPC numbers on them, there's too many numbers next to each product for it to be a UPC Number. Where/how would I find these numbers?

Um... Damn, I'm on the same boat.

    Need UPCs for:
    Big Daddy
    RG Photon
    Dlx Stockade
    Bumblebee vs. Scorpy
    Allspark Jolt
    Incinerator
    08 BB
    Rescue Ratchet vs. Brawl
    Jazz vs. Bonecrusher

I'm betting Nevermore is the guy to go to for these, but I haven't seen him lately.

The UPC is on the packaging, it's the number on the barcode.

Like I said, Nevermore's probably the go-to guy for that. We have until the 4th to get it postmarked... That should be enough time.

Okay, after searching the Interwebs for a while I found out that on Wal-Mart receipts, the first two numbers next to the product are for Wal-Mart purposes-- start at the third number for your UPC code. (All the UPCs start with 535...)

Haven't figured it out for the ones I bought at Target, though, since their receipts use DPCIs and not UPCs.

EDIT: Okay, also found out via looking that the Seibertron.com toy galleries usually have a high-quality image of the bottom of the toy's packaging, which is where you can find the UPC. Search there. Failing that, Toysrus.com's product pages have UPC numbers below the toy pictures, but you have to ignore the first and last numbers of those UPCs. Via these three methods, I got all of my UPCs-- I'm set!

I wish it was that easy. You know how new toys are there and then gone, especially since the movie came out. Half of the stuff on my forms I can't find in stores currently- I snatched 'em up when I saw 'em, and I've never seem 'em again.

If everything or almost everything you got was at Wal-Mart, it really doesn't take much time at all-- just look at the receipt(s) and copy it down, ignoring the "06" in front of everything. Between Seibertron.com and Toysrus.com, you should have all your bases covered just by typing into the Search function the name of the toy.

So it's just Walmart # without the 06? Sweet. All my stuff's from Walmart.

Yeah, you know you're doing it right if all of the UPCs you're putting down on your form start with "535...".

Actually, I've come up with a different conclusion for my UPC numbers. I bought nearly all my figures from Walmart.

    For TFTM Landmine:
    receipt UPC: 065356929372
    box UPC: 653569293729

Do you guys see where the numbers shift? It looks like Walmart adds the "0" at the beginning on their receipt and cuts off the last number from the UPC on the barcode (in this case, a "9").

According the the conversation on this thread, the correct UPC would be:
    5356929372.

Has this information been confirmed by Hasbro? I haven't filled out my Hasbro Rewards form yet, but I hope to have it filled and sent out soon. I'm glad this thread is here because I've been wondering about this issue for the last couple days. Thanks.

I got my answers from two sources-- first off, this thread on Seibertron.com where someone lists the UPC numbers for the Allspark Power Wal-Mart exclusives:

    http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/viewtopic.php?p=642936

Notice that we need a 10-digit UPC number, and the middle portion is ten digits. If you look at image galleries on Seibertron.com, like, say, this one of Allspark Legends Battle Jazz vs. Ice Megatron:

    http://www.seibertron.com/toys/fullsize.php?id=1364&size=2&image=11

You can see the box UPC code on the underside (it's in the large numbers, not the small numbers on the sides of the barcode), which corresponds to the ten-digit UPC code I've already talked about. Also, from what I already know, the UPC numbers for toys in the same assortments are VERY similar, and only differ by one number-- for example, Rally Rocket Bumblebee's UPC is 5356931528, while Night Attack Megatron, his wave mate, has a UPC No. of 5356931527. Add the extra 6's into the mix and that mucks everything up in regards to that.

I have incinerators box right in front of me.

    5356928910

also way to make me jealous over those walmart exclusive figures.
    I want all four. Badly.

:thumb  That's what I got from the receipt. It's always nice to have matching data.

Will Hasbro accept purchases like Big Daddy and Jolt for the rewards program? I went to the Hasbro website to see their list of participating products, and although some store exclusives were posted, others were not. Not listed were:

Target's Crosshairs, Storm Surge, and Warpath
Wal-Mart's movie Robot Heroes 5-pack, Big Daddy, Jolt, Divebomb, and Grindcore

With those not listed, I'm wondering if they'll honor those for the rewards. If nothing else, I'll see if I can get some info from customer service.

Guys, just quick clarification, when they mention "store purchase price," does that include the sales tax?

    I'd imagine not.

I noticed that as well, but included the Wal-Mart exclusives anyway. Better safe than sorry, as those were what put me over the $150 upper limit. They had previous exclusives from stores up, which makes me think they'll honor these, so long as you provide the receipt and UPC number.
