Are there any transformers you guys are afraid to transform for any reason? For me it'd have to be ROTF BB Bumblebee. It just takes so long for me to pose him in robot mode because he has so much articulation in his legs. I don't want to go through the hassle of that again lol.

 

MP Megatron. I transformed him one...it took forever, and I'm petrified of breaking him.

 

Anything with gold plastic.

I already lost a tab on MP Megs and the metal is completely tarnished, so it's not fear as much as "Fuck this thing".

 

I know what you mean about getting a figure in a pose you love and then not wanting to transform it again because you got it just right.

I can't ever see me transforming Universe Nemesis Prime (Big Convoy repaint) again. It was such a nightmare, one of my least favourite shellformers, and I'm never compromising his badass pose ever again.

 

HA Jazz: Don't want to risk damaging the silver paint, so he stays in robot mode.

HA Skids and Mudflap: Don't care that much about their vehicle modes enough to transform them.

AM-08 Terrorcon Cliffjumper: Transparent plastic.

 

I used to dread transforming ROTF Leader Jetfire into jet mode because it's so hard, fiddly and tedious, but then I sold him.

 

Wildride because of it's rubber wheels.

 

I bought Beast Wars TM Megatron back when he first hit the shelves at TRU. After years of owning him and transforming him I've finally succumbed to the fear of GPS. I can't bring myself to transform him again.

 

MP Megs, MMC Cyclops, TF RotF jetfire.

 

Battle Blades Optimus Prime has a bunch of parts that juuuust scrape by each other when transforming to vehicle. Basically, I've resorted to bludgeoning it so that everything's near where it should be, then I gently click everything in its right place.

 

Animated Minerva - that very expensive piece of plastic will never be transformed.

 

TRU MP Hot Rod.

Generations Wreck Gar - I've one handlebar hanging for it's life with super glue.  

 

ROTF Leader Optimus Prime, Jetfire, Mixmaster, Mudflap, Skids.....

Not that I'm afraid or anything, but I avoid transforming Universe Galvatron. Less stress.

 

MP Rodimus for fear of him breaking in my hands.He just feels so fragile that I hate to even touch him.

 

PP01 Faith Leader. I can transform him without instructions but it's a tedious process and the materials on him aren't the best. He's the 2nd run which has better quality plastic than the first release, but the plastic is still quite thin in certain places and that makes me paranoid of breaking something. Luckily, I just keep him in bot mode (which he excels at looking awesome leading my Classics Bots). I have Henkei Prime and MP-10 Convoy as my playable Primes.

As for myself, I don't really have any figs I'm afraid to transform. Why I don't own any MPs past MP-2. Closest is probably SDCC Alt Nemesis Prime, but only because you have to use a lot of force to fully extend the legs on the Optimus/Nemesis Dogde Ram mold. So much force that I'm afraid I'm gonna break the damn thing. So I've never really messed with my Alt Nemesis all that much. Optimus not much more than that.

As for my least favorite TF to transform, by far it's combining RiD Prime and Magnus into Omega Prime. Such a complicated and fiddly mess. And once you're done, Omega Prime is so friggin' heavy overall that you can't really do much with it other than have him just stand there. Because of that in the near decade that I've owned RiD Prime and Magnus, I've only ever combined them twice.

 

Only my toys with GPS. No modern toy is difficult at all to transform so I'm not 'afraid' to tf any of them at all.
