I have been noticing for awhile now, that a lot of today's figures don't look as good from the back as they do from the front. (hollowed out plastic, lots of gaps, etc.) I remember there was a time when this wasn't such a huge issue and the toys were designed to look good from both sides, it didn't seem to be just for looks but it also seemed to add much more durability to the figures. What are you thoughts on this growing trend? and do you think we will ever see it change, or will it just get worse in terms of asthetic and durability? (Your more than welcome to post photos as well, some folks may need visuals) So far the primary examples I can give is: DOTM, Some of the Generations and RTS, FoC and a lot of the Prime Figures.
