I was looking at my G1 Sky Lynx and thought to myself he looks pretty good with my 86 movie Classics/CHUGS So thats why I started this thread. Pictures would be cool.

    Here's a few I think work well.

    Dotm Shockwave w/ Prime's

NYCC Pink Arcee w/ Classics 86 movie figures

    G1 Devastator w/ upgrades w/ Classics

    G1 Predaking w/ Classics

Energon Galvatron w/Classics although I'm one of the five who prefer Universe

I thought I seen a thread awhile back with this same topic. I searched with no luck finding it. if thats the case mods can delete this one.

I have the G1 Reissue Insecticons displayed with my Henkei figures and I think they fit in great, albeit a bit hidden in the crowd.

on topic: IMHO FOC Shockwave, since he will be released in the TF: Prime line would fit in nicely.

Titanium Ultramagnus fits in nicely with the C.H.U.G line. Wish they would make a proper C.H.U.G Magnus though and not just a white Optimus Prime remake.

I agree with all of your choices but DOTM Shockwave? I find the design abit to organic to fit into TFP? For me, I use Energon Shockwave as the size is also similar to the voyager Optimus and Megatron also.

Guys, good one on the Insections and Ultra Magnus also!

A fair chunk of the Cybertron line fits in with Classics. Past that, I don't think any figures really pull it off. When people stand Movieverse figs next to anything BUT Movieverse figs, they stand out like a sore thumb. Now the WFC stuff sits nicely with Classics figs, but there's a reason for that I wager...

I loathe shoehorning, but i can't entirely blame the fandom. Takara and Hasbro do it too.

Generally I don't cross-pollinate lines either, except in cases where the mold clearly didn't belong in its stated line to begin with (i.e. all the AEC/Classics repaints that popped up as filler during the 2007 movie line) or in the case of the recent hybrid-style molds that are meant to do double-duty across lines.

But, having said that, one recent line-swap I did was to put PRID Bulkhead in with my Classics. It's not an absolutely perfect fit, as his rounded thighs, biceps and feet don't look quite G1-boxy, but I think it works reasonably well. There are enough other mildly-organic looking figures in Classics now that he's not too out of place. Here was my reasoning:

-FE Bulkhead is the more screen-accurate mold for Prime, so that's my Prime Bulkhead
-PRID's head design is more simplified, and more like a cross between Prime and Animated; aside from the little triangular mouth, he's probably about what I'd want a Classics Bulkhead to look like
-PRID Bulkhead is slightly smaller, so scale-wise he looks great next to Classics deluxes
-PRID Bulkhead's transformation is simpler and results in a less organic-looking robot mode than FE's... more suited for Classics

I'll try to post photos later, but I've had him standing alongside Classics for a few weeks now and I'm pretty happy with him there. Until we get an actual Classics Bulkhead, I think this is the best option.

EDIT: Oh, also, as someone stated above, a lot of Cybertron molds work well in Classics. While I don't like repurposing characters with a different name, I sometimes toss some of the Cybertron Energon molds on to my Classics shelf under their proper name. For instance, C. Quickmix and E. Scorponok work reasonably well as their G1 selves (just with color variations) and PCC Leadfoot is standing alongside my G2 Classics as, well, Leadfoot.

Voyager Bludgeon can be a Classics Bludgeon, especially with the headrobots kit. Also, Cybertron Armorhide -> Classics Pipes.

Most movie or Prime figures that people say fit into Classics I don't see at all. They look so out of place. I generally don't shoehorn stuff much.

RTS Lugnut works great with the CHUG,Movieline and Prime line.

ROTF Lockdown goes well with the Prime line.

ROTF Bludgon/HFTD Banzitron goes well with CHUG,and Prime.

Both FOC and DOTM Shockwave go with Prime.

    Generations Warpath works with Prime

Generations Darkmount/Straxus goes with the Prime line.

DOTM Sentinal Prime with the Prime line.

DOTM Skyhammer goes well with the Prime line.

PRID Ironhide and Ratchet can go well with the CHUG line too. :)

I love figures that can fit in everywhere. :D
