I have seen so many figures that people gush over, that I just don't like, or see the big deal about.

    My list:
Windcharger: People go NUTS over this figure. I'm not a fan of scouts at all.

RTS g2 Prime: I am getting this in trade, but I just NEVER seen the appeal. I assume its the add on thats coming.

Legends: Pretty much my feeling about scouts. I just don't like them.

    And yours?

    ROTF Mindwipe.

People gushed about how this was a great toy, even better than Bludgeon. I find he's decent enough, but not Bludgeon levels of awesome, or at the very least even poseability.

RTS G2 Prime - A stupid idea and a pointless figure.

Classics Rodimus (any version) - it looks like garbage and doesn't feel well-made.

Masterpiece toys. I honestly don't see how they're worth it. Especially the expensive Japanese ones, since the NA ones are a fairly good price. Only one that looks cool is Grimlock.

And TFC Hercules figures. And HA figures.

Basically, I don't like oversized toys that are oversized for the sake of being oversized.

RTS Prime does suffer from a pretty ugly face, which was my first reaction, but again it's getting a lot of demand from speculators due to the add-on. It's basically what happened to Ultra Magnus with the FP Armor.

Anyway I understand a lot of people love the Movie toys, but I just don't :)  Don't hate em, but just can't find myself liking the designs, mostly put off by the faces, and the way they designed so many figures having wirelike effects on their bodies.

    Legends/Cyberverse..I don't get the appeal.

RoTF Leader Optimus..not a bad toy at all, I just don't think it's as "perfect" as everyone else seems to.

Animated toys. I like a handful of them and they're very well engineered to translate well into plastic form, but the aesthetic just isn't for me. I hate it even more because fans of them are so snarky when someone doesn't care for it :rolleyes2

Probably more but those are my big choices.

I usually wind up liking most figures I buy.

It did, however, come to my attention that there are people who think RotF Leader Megatron is not a piece of unposable trash.

I also think Universe Hound is a bit overrated. I like him, but when I hear it called the best of the Classics-y figures I just don't get it. He has giant shoes and his arms are stumpy and marginally posable. Mine doesn't peg together terribly well either. Oh well, I got it for Ravage. (The FP machine-gun does improve him though, and I like the character!)

Sorry guys but I totally hate Beast Wars and Beast Machines. The most fugliest toys ever. Those things are an abomination..

RTS Grappel and BIS Rodimus. I don't have any other versions of Classics Rodimus, but this version is like a Happy Meal toy. Cheapo looking plastic and ugly as hell blue windows. Is this a Fisher Price toy?? Grappel just extremely overrated...

The more I think about it...the Blaster SDCC re-issue...cool cassette bots though, but Blaster himself reminded me a lot of Rodimus.

I'm actually pretty forgiving, so I don't have much to say.

Cyberverse isn't as awesome and people say, I think. I just stared at them in the toy isle today and just couldn't bring myself to buy one. Just kind of a feeling of, "Meh. I want something better."

Third party sets are generally pretty stupid and overpriced. The Ultra Magnus set doesn't look THAT great, neither does the Rodimus set. The only set that really made me go "DAYUM!" was the Brooticus one.

RTS Prime was just pretty mediocre...

most of the overpriced third party stuff. TBH I can only say that the reviews and pictures usually don't make me feel anything but sympathy for the people who buy them (to each his own though). TBEH (To Be Even Honester) I also like a lot of third party toys, so this is not a bash against third party stuff.

Classics Jetfire. Nice design on paper, but flawed execution in almost every area. His armored mode has horrible proportions, and he has the gimpiest articulation ever.

    Classics.

Not that they're bad figures or anything, I just have no interest in the aesthetic nor any attachment to G1 characters.

Masterpiece Grimlock. Despite the Tyrannosaurus eRextion most people seem to get over this toy, some parts of it just feel too floppy when I play with it.

And cyberverse Guzzle. lame. Turret can't pivot; barrel can't tilt. Not a big fan of tank modes anyway -- perhaps if the treads could actually roll, instead of having little fruity wheels underneath I'd like them better.
