Oh hey, Wheeljack has storage for his wrenches. Hells yes. That was my one concern with the toy.

They're Barcode Battler type of cards used with some sort of arcade game in Japan.

hmmmm...that Voyager DOTM Optimus Prime does not have that sort of "solar panels/beehive patterns" compared to the Hasbro version and it has a sort of bayonet blade type nice.... MPL Prime has some silver paint on the outermost part of its shins and a base...other than than I can;t see any differences. That Kabaya power master Optimus Prime looks really good.

The super-toon-accurate Japanese line features red Rumble/blue Frenzy and yet Hasbro does it vice versa in its somewhat Marvel-related line. Heh.

Cancelled all of my remaining United preorders except for G2 Optimus and Rumble/Frenzy:

Hasbro really dropped the ball on G2 OP by attempting to make it look like a G2 + movie hybrid IMO. But, gotta keep the kids happy, right?

The only reason I'm hanging onto Rumble/Frenzy is the 'fear' that I'm only going to be able to find one or the other when it comes to the Hasbro versions. That or I'm not going to be able to find either one, based on the way things have been going lately. Makes me sick about the price though, but that's life.

As for the rest, even those not featured here, I just can't justify the expense. There's a few that definitely look better, at least in pics (Jazz, Tracks, G2 OP), but for the most part Hasbro's versions are fine (though I do wish some, like Kup, had a few more painted details).

BTW, still no news on a United version of Windcharger? Maybe they'll release him in a two pack with the inevitable Tailgate repaint. Well... guess I shouldn't really say "inevitable". Likely? Probable? It-would-be-cool-but-I-wouldn't-hold-my-breath-if-I-were-you?

Finally, here's hoping the next Masterpiece is either Soundwave or Galvatron, if they are indeed hinting at an original mold that is. Personally, I'd love to see a Masterpiece Megatron G2 tank but I'm sure that I'm in the underwhelming minority on that one. Very sure.

Nice, Takara has really won on Rumble/Frenzy, G2 Prime and that Voyager movie Prime. No sign of the trailer though, I guess they could be selling it both with and without.

Nice to see the modifications they've made to Wheeljacks legs as well.

The Masterpiece Prime has new legs now?
