Oh, this is just delicious. After a good five years of HASBLO SUX TAKARA RULZ, the glove is on the other hand.

Literally the only appealing thing about these is the Minicons.

Seems like they are going for abbreviated names for the Autobots...

    オーピー (oo pii) = OP
    ビーツー (bii tsuu) = B2
    シエル (shi eru) = CL
    アルエ (aru e) = RA

I can't figure out what the Decepticon names are supposed to be. They may just be Gora and Baro, I guess :)

One of the scan showing MP Starscream with Henkei Ramjet & Henkei Astrotrain side by side,is this an indication of the next MP figure??

No it's a recreation of the coronation scene from the movie using modern figures (Astrotrain and Ramjet were standing next to Starscream before Galvatron arrived).

I was never a fan of the changes they made to MP Starscream's alt mode, but I decided to wait for better pics to decide. This isn't helping. A lot of the little details you expet to see in a masterpiece figure look like they're missing. I hope the final product is better.

But the facial expression of Ratchet sure looks much better than the Hasbro version

I was reading that as Beetoo (Bumblebee as well) or B2 (Bumblebee # 2) but that is a pun that only works in English I guess.

Contracted names isn't such a daft idea though. there's plenty of ways to do it though using misspelling, contractions and sound-a-like names, and descriptive terms - perhaps Hasbro could use some of them for example :

Jump, Jumper, Thumper, Thumble, Tumble, Mumble, Handball, Stumper, Stumble, Shambles, Titus, Opal, Mouse, Mass, Miss-take, Massive, Dismiss, Cutter, Twister, Dicer, Chop-bot, Chomp, Slasher, Spanner, Forceps, Spinner.

I think short names work best for Microns personally. I'll be interested to see how Takara handle the colours for the capsule toys too.

There's a guy at your door who'd like to see you about revoking your Transformers Fandom membership.

He say's you don't meet the minimum standards of thinking Minicons are (looks at clip board) "Tiny Gods" and so he says he's going to have to ask you for your membership card.. he suggests you might like to go hang out with the other heretics who like Figurarts and Glyos instead where you might be happier.

The news that the AM figures will feature less paint and force buyers to place stickers on the them ourselves is a bit disappointing, not to mention having to assemble the Arms Microns ourselves (which look also look unpainted and require sticker application). I guess Takara is taking a pagebook from their Bandai Gundam competitors and making the AM line more like a DIY model kit to a certain degree. Good news for those who prefer a bit of DIY model-building, I suppose. (And all those 5mm ports being molded into the figure everywhere are somewhat of an eyesore). At least Ratchet has his red ambulance squigglies (even if they might just be stickers, but I'm sure Reprolabels will come up with their own stickers for the Hasbro versions too). XD

As for MP-11, he's looking pretty good, even if the promo pictures seem heavily photoshopped in the scan.

I can't believe it. Having seen the mirrored images full size, it now appears that TakTom have managed the incredible feat of making the RID Bumblebee mould even worse.

He is rapidly turning into Armada Hot-Shot. Maybe that's the idea.

Scans of MP Rodimus in the same magazine from the same website made him look pink (before his release).

    I'm not worried yet.

He never had one in the cartoon, it was light gray in 99.99% of his appearances.

Hm, the earlier pic of MP-11 looks really awesome, but this latest doesn't look that good. Also, at the top right and left corner, is that MP Astrotrain and MP Ramjet???

All I see is Henkei figures. A hint perhaps or they just added them to spice up the coronation picture.

Removed my preorder for Ratchet. I missed out on the deluxe Megs so thats staying, and I have to get Soundwave just because his micron looks cool.
