TF Prime Japanese Arms Micron Series New Details

According to the latest issue of Figure-Oh,

1. AM series figures has less paint apps, and come with dress-up sticker. this was rumored in Japanese fandom for weeks - now officially confirmed.

2. Figures are slightly remolded to add some joints for Arms Microns.

3. Arms Microns itself is coming as unassembled kit with sprue. they have a clear parts called "Energon Crystal", and have a game gimmick by using this.(shown later)

4. Arms Microns name - Aupi(オーピー) for Optimus, Beetoo(ビーツー) for Bumblebee, Ciel(シエル) for Cliffjumper, Arue(アルエ) for Ratchet. Gora(ゴラ) for Megatron, Baro(バロ) for Skywarp.

 

I dont know how the paint apps can be any worse than the hasbro versions
that call for a sticker replacement

 

We still have to assemble the Arms Microns by ourself,Takara is getting more & more lazy

 

The prices are lower on these items than Deluxes have been in years, so in order to keep the prices low the lack of assembly and extra details makes sense (for better or for worse).

Well, Japanese Prime toys remind me of Brave and Eldran series...hero robots with many stickers!

 

It's like I'm on dialup and back in time ten years, but without the humiliation of being in high school again!

 

Just read on Seibertron, apparently the stories about the minicons coming on Sprues were also true.

And for the love of Primus, someone please mirror the images.

 

Mirroring these suckers now, as they finish for me. Will be editing this post.

It cracks me up Prime still has the clear arms even though they serve absolutely no purpose at all since his weapon has been replaced.

The stickers on everything are absolutely hilarious. Ratchet doesn't even have his chest windows. It's like they're TRYING to make these toys look like shit. Even the minicons look like crap.

Calling it now. Hasbro wins for this entire damn line.

 

All the Prime pictures are up. Just need to finish downloading the MP Starscream image and I'll mirror that too. It's almost done saving, and is interesting as it's showing some better pictures of the cape and the mold changes.

EDIT: And Starscream's been added too now.

 

They should totally have used PP03J for that coronation picture.

Is it very strong lighting, or have they dropped the darker grey seen on MP11 before for a color closer to the earlier MP Starscream?
