Thanks to Ebay I was able to reclaim a lost garage-saled bit of my childhood, in the form of a C.O.P.S. Bulletproof Vess action figure. So it got me thinking: Any other closet C.O.P.S. fans out there...?

Yeah, C.O.P.S. was cool, I remember having many of the toys, I really liked Longarm(I think that was his name).

Used to love that show, and the toys. I remember loving Longarms cuff gimmick, and bulletproof Vess' cool little suitcase :p

Well, I missed the thread ealier, so I'm glad you bumped it, Oh master of ferrets. I used to love the show. That 1920's gangster inspired costumes combined with sci fi? Genius.

Bowser and Blitz. .... and Blitz was the dog. I tend to view C.O.P.S as the line that killed Visionaries...

Ahh COPS, the giant GI joe action figures with cap guns. Never that big at my house. Caps made such a stench we never used them much. And being that they were basically giant GI joes they broke a lot.

It was a 22-minute commercial for a product that, at the end, NOBODY KNEW EXISTED.

Total failure as a marketing device.

My country never screened the country so the only access I had were the comics...and the characters seemed cool. I was also looking forward to the toys but they were never released either...BLAH!

I vaguely remember the show. The only thing that sticks in my mind is that they had a really cool dual-cockpit helicopter.
