I don't know whether to be happy or sad... FFT but.. PSP. Only known extra class so far is Onion Knight.

Tactics Advance II makes me happy. Very happy. The original game was just amazing. I can't wait for the sequel.

Great news on both. Finally, the PSP is becoming more then a brick.

Sony may as well just rename the PSP to "all our best games are remakes and ports". Guh. I love FFT as much as anybody, but it's almost getting comical at this point.

Maybe the FFT remake on the PSP will sell well in Japan. In turn, SquareEnix may bring more titles to the PSP. This can only be a good thing.

With FFT coming to the PSP, the only thing I really need them to change is the translation. The PS1 story is so badly written its aggravating.

Agreed. Hell, I'd be tempted to buy a PSP just to get a decently translated version of FFT. It's amazing how such a great game could be so totally ruined by such incompetent translators.

Still, as tempting as it may be, this makes only three games I can think of that I would really want on the PSP: Maverick Hunter X, Crisis Core, and FFT. That's just not enough to justify spending $200+ to get one.

Wheee! My brother just got one as a part of a deal with a contract phone, I think he'd be willing to sell me his, so this, Crisis Core, the Wild Arms game, Valkyrie Profile and any other halfway decent RPGs I can find will make it well worthwhile.
I never got the original, so this would be a great way to get ahold of a copy. I'm also hoping for the translation to be tweaked, since a weird translation can throw me sometimes - Wild Arms 2, for example.

I figure I might pick this up and wait for the PSP to die or drastically drop in price in a couple of years. I just don't think I can resist FFT with Onion Knights. :(

I love having both handhelds. *happy* I get the DS awesome and the bluemoon PSP gems.

For the PSPless: maybe post-Christmas sales? We have Boxing Day up here on the 26th, but I forgot if you guys get anything like that.

Somewhat of a bump from the dead:

    Final Fantasy Tactics A2 (DS)

    - Addition of a World Map. World Map made up of many smaller Area Maps.
    - Addition of giant-sized boss units taking up several squares.

Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions (PSP)

    - In addition to Balthier, super secret hot bonus character #2: Russo (main character) from FFTA2!
    - "Brave Story" mode: Tracks your progress through the game. Sounds like the Jiminy Memos from Kingdom Hearts.
    - New events for Delita (Matsuno rolling in grave confirmed).

Wow, and it only took, what, a couple years?

Anyhow, Fuuketsu... They say that when something has a really weird name, it's good. This game must be great.
