Ok so now for the boring stuff, been unhappy with all the Arcee's we have gotten. I even had the Igear Arcee and while she was a perfect rendition of G1 Arcee.... she was just that, a boring G1 accurate Arcee. I decided to go my own route due to the fact that with so many updated figures for Classics she (Igear) looked out of place with the rest of her crew to me. I decided on Animated Arcee because I like the figure, and it had a very updated look. I bought a casted Arcee head from a board member here (sorry forgot who but thanks so much!) and went to work. I found that the One Coat Laquer "electric Pink" was a near perfect match for her pink and figured if I left it the same color I wouldn't have to worry much about paint rubs. I actually prefer this color as the light pink was a tad too soft and gentle looking to me. This was the result and I am pretty happy with it. I figure with all the different looks Transformers has had over the last few years she doesn't look too out of place and I said screw the original color scheme and went with my own for the fun of it.

Jade is just a straight up repaint of Prime Arcee. I pretty much figure her as a former friend of Arcee who went rouge. The colors in person really POP and look great together. The pics really don't do her justice. Alt-mode is a little plain looking right now and I may ad some more paint apps later but right now I'm satisfied.

ALWAYS love a Animated-> Classics Arcee Conversion, this one is nicely done :)

Jade lives up to her name for sure. More Femmebots, that's my motto!

Thanks, I Actually like the swords for Arcee so decided to keep them. Got another coming in the mail that I'm going to heavily mod into Firestar. Will be sculpting a new head for it.

    That Arcee is fantastic looking.

And I like Jade too but Arcee stole the show for me.

Btw If anyone is wondering, the entire figure was painted with the "Electric Pink". Has a nice metallic shine to it and looks great in person. Thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate it!

Its a spray made by Testors. I really enjoy the "one Coat" sprays that are out, very durable but sometimes bubbles for no reason. Pretty easy to find at Hobby Lobby or Micheals. Some of the edges I had to sand to try to get the crisp angles though.
