That is perfect! It definetly looks even more like Strika now.

 

As promised, here's a quick pic of two OC femmes, Triage and Rally, as they dry after a bit of clearcoat. I'm trying to decide if I want to paint the oval Moonracer nipples on Triage, and what color to use, or leave them as-is.

I'm still deciding on Strika/Rook's color scheme, which is why she's not here (FYI, for her pompom guns, I went with a pair of TFP Arcee blasters from fakebusker83 plugged, Seeker-style, into Rook's shoulder mounts, which looks pretty good in vehicle mode), although I found a CW G2 Onslaught for ten bucks that these new Voyager Strika pieces might be good for.

 

Whoa those look great! I especially like the paint job on Rally. lol -- nipples. oddly I hadn't thought about the headlights as being nipples but see now its quite obvious. i blame IDW.

 

This entire thread has me really excited!!! I haven't dipped my toe into any real customization yet, but it's definitely something I'd be interested in doing and having a good resource for heads for gals has me even more excited about it!!!

I have to apologize that the blasters are IMO outrageously expensive at $22. This is the base material cost that Shapeways assigned. I even experimented with making these hollow but i only got it reduced by $1 for a much lower quality, likely more breakable product. Not sure how to make them cheaper other than reduce the size significantly, which will make it so they don't stick up on the combiner's back like they are supposed to. I also experimented with making them one object by putting a little 1mm connector between them, but that only saved 10 cents and means you will probably have to remove it and sand it down, which is not worth the 10 cents. If anyone has other ideas about how to reduce the costs, let me know and I will work on it.

The other stuff combined is less than half of the price of the blasters. So no worries if you decide to skip the blasters and stick with Bruticus's default weapons.

Since I was able to pick up a g2 bruticus box set, I've been debating on what to do with the normal onslaught I have,,, this certainly presents a nice option! I bookmarked all the pages for it so I can potentially purchase them at some point down the line

 

Currently I'm offering two options: Strika or Firestar. Although I don't exactly have a combiner head for Firestar that makes sense. I experimented with an Elita-One combiner head a few pages back but it came out a little small due to the Bruticus hood. If you carve out the Bruticus head slot some, i could make it bigger. Let me know if you have other ideas or characters that would work better.

Override:

 

i was thinking about doing a Gen Drift -> Override. Not sure what other molds would work well for her.

also, thinking about modding the Cyb Override to have longer arms and generally better proportions, maybe more proportional thighs or something. not sure transformation will allow for these things though. but the proportions of the mold have always bugged me, especially the arms.

Geez that mold would be a pain to work with. I could easily lengthen the arms but given how much more work it would need to make the rest of it look reasonably proportioned its not worth it. So, I am still looking for a good override body. Not sure drift is the best choice. I like the idea of the new rid blurr but its not out yet.

im working on a naginata type spear for Lancer.. For the AOE version I am thinking of splitting it and adding some connectors to work with the larger sword ports on that mold. in that case, it will probably be a Naginata with blades on both ends. But here is the basic cyber-energo-looking spear/lance/etc.

I decided to make Onslaught into IDW Elita One and Bruticus into Mistress of Flame. I prefer the Elita One Dreamwave design where she looks all armored up. So this Elita's design is kind of a mix of IDW and Dreamwave.
