So we have seen a lot of Arcee and Airachnid in this first season and it got me to thinking about the aesthetics of design employed in Prime to make them look feminine, the most glaring of which is their size compared to the male bots. I kind of wish they would give us a female robot that is huge and imposing like bulkhead.

Does anyone else think a large and in charge female robot will ever be done in Prime?

See, that's what I get for not being able to watch Beast anything because the visuals look so terrible to me. I just looked that character up and hell yes she would work perfectly!

Strika, in both her Beast Machines and Animated incarnations was a big bot.

As for your other point, the size of TFP fembots. All we've seen thus far is Arcee and Airachnid. Sure, the pair of them are smaller robots, but who is to say that fembots don't get any bigger than that? We've seen that the male robots have a clear size variance (Bumblebee/Cliffjumper at the small end of the spectrum, Optimus/Megatron/Skyquake at the large), so it is certainly possible for the fembots to have one as well.

Like every one else my first thought was strika. Althought I am uncertain how much or little she would need to chang from her previous incarnations

I’d love to see a female character like Strika kicking @$$ in Prime, but it should be noted—as people tend to overlook it—that all other characters have very masculine body types. Just sayin’.

Yeeeeeees exactly, I'm tired of the contsant rehashes of old characters in every TF series.

That's kinda one reason why I liked Beast Wars initially because practically every character was a new one.

Considering Strika's appearances include half a season of Beast Machines and 1 episode of Animated, I don't think we can bemoan her as an overly used character.

Bulky, unfeminine, imposing female characters are usually tough to incorporate into any fiction so I think having a legacy character to fill that role makes the possibility of that happening far more realistic.

Transformers Animated also did a good job of having new characters. Even for the characters that had the same name as old ones, they were pretty different from previous incarnations.

I'd like to see a larger female that turns into an APC. She could still have a feminine shape, but be tall and imposing.

Honestly, I'm not ready for that; seeing a big imposing female like bulkhead.

But what would be neat, is that having 3 female robots turning into a huge robot like prime or megatron, when needed.

How about female combiners? Two or three Bumblebee-sized chicks that combine into a 'bot Prime or Megatron's size. It could work.
