If you didnt report it your skrewed. Im on Workmans comp now, and you have to report right away to get any money or be taken care of.
I'm not necessarily concerned with workman's compensation to get taken care of, just that I DO get taken care of even if it is with my regular insurance.
Well there you go. You said the floor is all tile. You need the rugs there in case the floor outside is wet. As you walk in, those rugs need to be there to dry your feet. Ironicaly to prevent slipping or falling. Just a CYA thing for the owner of the building. And OSHA requires it. Glad to hear its not super bad news..
Like I said man, if you didnt report it or document the time and day and all that you may have some trouble getting taken care of. Workmans comp should take care of any medical bills, etc, etc. Im just going on experience.
I've only read the first page, but from my experience, if you didn't report it the day it happened, you may be up a creek for workman's comp. Not entirely sure that is what this would fall under, either. I do, however, wish you the best with this.
I do not have any confidence in my jobs work injury program...I've been hurt before, went to the clinic, got sent home for 6 days, and magically was all better on the 7th day...so go back to work.....but the injury still gives me trouble from time to time..... And then this happened: In Feb of this year, I hurt my rt knee and both shoulders at work. I filed an accident report the next day cause it was still hurting, and then I went to my own doctor. My doctor refferred me to a specialist and he recommended PT. I told my employer about it, and they took over from there. I've been off work since 4-11 due to doctors restrictions....and I get knee surgery on 7-4....and its all being covered by my job/workers comp....including my paycheck. The gist of the story?....report it, and get it taken care of....dont take one for the company.
