I'd love some feedback on my first custom repaint..
Yes, I know it's YET ANOTHER black Prime, but he's my favorite.. and I hadn't seen a Classics prime repainted yet..

I was going for a very weather, battle-worn look..

Looks weird you didn't do anything to the tires, or is this still a wip?

    Looks good otherwise!

Just be careful next time with the brush. You got some paint where you did not want it. I really like how you did NOT over do it with the red or a teal. This one is good, but like all our customs, your next one will make you want to repaint this!!! You got the techs down

Impressive. I have seen black primes rarely, usually Nemesis Prime is more of the norm to me, but anyways nice job on the first attempt of repainting. You got some skills now you just need is some more randoms to perfect your ability and you'll get there.

This has turned out exceptionally well, especially for your first try :thumb

However, I'd recommend a few things to see others work:
    • Google search other's work.
    • Check out the gallery here (link at the top of this website)
    • Do a search at this site.

    :)

It is nice for your first attempt. I look forward to seeing you improve as it could be quite impressive.

I do recommend that you stay away from brushing on large areas and try using sprays. A lot of brush strokes are visible. With sprays, by their very nature, you avoid that.

    Nice custom, man!

Red sharpie marker on the inside of the windows works great!

I mixed clear blue and clear red paints to get a redish-purple hue, which as is is entirely too dark to be truly transparent, so I then added a few drops of future floor finish to thin it out, and then painted that on the insides of the plastic. the plastic is blue, so it turned the reddish-purple into a better shade. :)
