I'm glad I avoided getting any of the Last Knight figures, so far. Bumblebee now has his hammer, and Hound now has a riot shield - though I did like the original TLK version's weapons.

Now I'm even considering getting Lockdown, though I'll probably repurpose him as someone else. Real movie Lockdown should be tall as Optimus.

I'm hoping Takara redoes the other TLK Transformers, especially Voyager Optimus.

I can see no difference between this TF5 Leader Megs and the Takara release I just got, save for that red paint on the eyes.
And I would not buy any repainted old toys of BOnecrusher, not after most of the older toy leaks just proved right at HasCon, meaning those planned new movie toys will probaby happen, too.

To be fair, the designers probably only had access to Hound's earlier concept art for reference. At least in his case for MtB, they now have the benefit of more finalized movie designs to make fixes(keeping budget in mind.)

Megatron is gray instead of green. He also has a lot of subtle wear marks throughout. You can see it best here:

There is a lot of painted detailing there.

Oh, Takara, you tease me with fixing Hounds alt mode but still leave the feet. Yes, I know it's not so easy to retool the feet into CG model accurate feet. However, now I have to decide what to do with my PE Hound. Do I stick with it and get the Dr Wu add on set to improve the alt mode and feet? Or do I go for the MBM Hound and figure out the feet later?

Green? Yeah he's maybe a more silvery grey than the standard release, but the standard leader class is definitely grey, not green.

That silver brushing's on the standard release too.

Definitely getting that MB Hound. I had the Hasbro version but had to return it for some QC issues. I like the riot shield / camper shell to make his alt mode accurate. My only nitpick is I wish he had more weapons. But this is definitely a pre-order. Wonder if a MB Cogman might get released with more TM robot mode paint apps.

I guess I have to look closer at mine, as I have him and I thought he was green.

That War Hammer Bee is the Wave 3 Last Knight deluxe right?

If so, man I'm seriously considering get this version since I can't seem to get the Hasbro version right now and he has the hammer! But then I see its 36 dollars to preorder... Hmmm =/

Nice to see that this line is continuing. As others have mentioned, hopefully it means we can get some decent releases of figures that desperately need a better paint job (Sentinel Prime, Fallen, etc.).

I really only care about first trilogy characters so I had my eyes on Jazz, Bonecrusher, Jetfire, and Prime.

Jazz actually has less paint than the premium version which was released in 2007 so pass on that.

Bonecrusher hates that he's even getting a re-release and further hates the fact that Takara painted him in silver so its a pass on that.

Jetfire looks really good! I have never been that interested in owning that mold but that paint looks glorious!

And that just leaves this "Revenge" Prime. It appears to have the same dark gray plastic that the original DA-28 Striker Prime had which I quite like. However I wonder how it will look with all of the extra paint details like the gold. I can't help but think that these promotional images aren't actually what he will end up as. We all remember how stoked we all were for MB-11 which looked like he would be in all silver paint. And then when he was released, dull gray plastic.

This new prime could be a great addition to my collection but only if the paint and plastic can meld well together. If not, I'm saving my money for APS-01U.

It's nice on the re releases at the same time, I'll just wait and see if they end up doing MPM for them as well.

That Wave 3 Bumblebee looks really good and the cannon is on the correct arm, too. I think, for the first time since I started collecting, I'm willing to shell out the money for Takaras ridiculous price for a toy.

i think its a damn shame they couldn\'t have equipped wave 3 bee with that hammer. even a non colored version wouldve been ok. seems to me like hasbro is just countering all the stuff thats been knocked off in the last couple of years. so the trend continues. older figures at a much higher price.

Yes, but this version appears to have the cannon on the right arm. Wave 3 has it on the left arm for some reason. I just ordered him from RK. I would've waited had I known these would be revealed.

I'm surprised they didn't redeco the improved Hotrod mould for Lockdown. Strange.

    That Jetfire is VERY tempting....

    All right thanks!

Despite hating the price (and release date) I went to BBTS and placed my preorder for War Hammer Bumblebee, not going to bother getting the Hasbro version when the Takara release is a lot more accessible. Looks like I just gotta wait for Amazon or Hasbrotoyshop for Crosshairs & Dragonstorm and Walmart.com for Hot Rod then.
