I know that there is a disappointment for anyone who wanted First Edition Bulkhead. After some say they think that the RID version maybe better. But after today, there are some dislikes for RID Bulkhead, but very few likes.

Now I'm just curious about if people want FE more than RID or that RID has grown on some people.

 

I'm gonna go for the Takara release of FE Bulkhead. But if he winds up unavailable, then I'll settle for RID until news about the FE repacking.

i think both have their own merits in ingenuity that was put into making the figure. it's not as bad as it looks, but i admit the chest will take a while to grow on me. but if i had to choose, i'd prob get a FE bulk (which i have coming in soon). i do like the mace rid has.

FE Bulkhead kills the RID one and then shits on it's corpse.

 

FE definitely looks better to me, but RID doesn't look nearly as poor as some like to say. I haven't handled either in person yet, so that would be the decision kicker for me.

 

FE takara bulkhead. He's sitting in my lap right now, great figure. Worth every penny.

 

FE looks more accurate, and would be preferable if both were equally accesible. The RiD version isn't bad however, people are way overreacting on it as usual.

First Edition will win this in a land slide. He's an amazing looking figure.

The PRID Bulkhead has some glaring issues that cause it to fall extremely short when compared to the extremely loved First Edition.

 

Now come to think of it, compare those 2 figure to the actual character design FE is more accurate because his head lights are on his chest while RID head lights on below his belly.

 

RiD Bulkhead is utter trash. Which sucks because I live in freaking Canada and can't find FE Bulkhead.

 

I like the FE. I'm kinda glad I bought him from BBTS....the Japanese version that is. But I'm not sure if I'm going to keep him.

I already have the Takara First Edition and am quite happy with it. I'll be getting the Takara RiD version simply for whatever minicon it comes with.

 

I completely agree. I wasn't really planning on getting him, but with the sudden shortage I decided to get one from BBTS while I could.

I'm very pleased with my impulse buy. This is a beautiful figure! He and Takara FE CJ are both wonderful.

 

At this point, I really think the less comparisons of FE to RID the better. I even feel bad posting pics of FE toys. Just seems to make all of the butthurt worse.
