Report: FCC expected to rule against Comcast | News - Digital Media - CNET News.com
Chicka chicka YEAH!
Stupid Comcast. I wish it wasn't the fastest ISP in the region.
They're gonna think here's just another company violating a federal policy...or here's "Comcast", the 45 year old organ donor from Mississippi.
Linky no worky... Though I'm on Comcast "High Speed"
Sometimes I'm really glad Comcrap isn't here.
Good maybe I can start using torrents again. I gave up last year when it was clear I was being throttled.
Wow, and I thought Cablevision was terrible...
I really just wish ComCast would make it so my internet, phone, and tv stop going out all at once.
Every few weeks it happens.
Kudos good citizen.
Huh. I'm on Comcast and download torrents all the time. I've never noticed any problems.
I've never had problems either, but I'm not in the most populated area. I could see someone in California being more likely to be throttled than a guy in a small farm town.
Heh. I said "throttled."
Works for me...
There's a simple solution to their broadband shaping bullshit which I use. When they slow my connection to a crawl I unplug my router, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in. It resets they whole connection and I'm back to DLing again.
Not really sure how that even works. Sounds like you're just clearing the cache on your router. Which sometimes can cause your connection to slow. But thats not the ISP's fault.
Edit:Fuck it I dont care.
Comcasts service varies a great deal. I had them and had problems being dropped several times a night almost and sometimes for a day at a time. Then, I moved only two cities away and haven't had one problem.
