    Animated.

I also like Cybertron and Beast Wars, but Animated wins by far in my opinion.

Animated's full intro, followed by the movie's "Scorponok" theme. (they seem to also use it as a general theme music for the films, 'cuz it's so damn catchy) And then there's Phat Planet in third.

I gotta go with this as well, though Season 2 is an exceptionally close second.

Honestly though? I found the Season 1 and 2 outro to be the best music (it's the same piece used for each season). I love all the strings and brass.

I find BW's music to be too notably synthesized while trying to sound like brass, and Animated, when I listen to it...something about the note choices and scansion on the vocal line bug me, particularly around "wage their battle to destroy" and "evil forces of". I also think their choice of guitar sounds a little "weak", but I know a lot less about the specifics of electric guitar settings.

RiD's intro isn't bad at all, it lends itself well to the action scenes and embraces its purely digital nature, but its outro is incredibly forgettable.

Galaxy Force is an atrocity. Cybertron is shockingly generic. I also could do without "rappity guy", to paraphrase Walky.

I think Armada uses the electric guitar far better than Animated does, maybe it's the chord progression and the minor key stuff thrown in there. Energon has little to really distinguish it.

Toughie... I love the G1 Season 2 and Season 3 opening theme, and I love Animated's.

    Guess that's a three-way tie right there.

I always loved G1 Season 2s opening theme. A catchy theme with a well animated cluster fuck of Transformers duking it out.

G1 is just plain classic, Beast Machines is catchy and Animated is a remake of an awesome classic.
