They are spawned screeching from the bowels of hell just like every other female in existence!

In all seriousness, I think I would prefer an evolution-related origin. I would like for there to be a "natural" reason for their existence as opposed to having them forced into being by some entity.

Can you name natural occurring female archetypes that exist in any species other than humans that DON'T revolve around sexual reproduction? That part RIGHT THERE I never want TFs to touch with a 10 foot pole.

I like one where they just exist. When you have to have a reason for it it never works. Its always something stupid. Just have them there...who really cares why?

    Other

AKA "There's females because we want females"

Seriously I don't think they need to explain the existence of female Transformers, especially since most of the attempts to explain are straight up terrible

    Real Shit?
    Idw, Furman's IDW.
I think, while it's not a good origin for female transformers, so much as the overwhelming majority of males. I like how meta it is. Rather than having an alien race have an incongruously human western idea of gender circa the 2010s ala current IDW, the idea that jihaxus saw biology and sex, and was like, "bruh, let's introduce this to transformers" and tried that is almost like an allegory of humanizing transformers.
So, a good explanation for the status quo at the time. Moving forward though, just having them and not trying to explain it is pretty uncontroversial.

Because each new toy line is not directly connected to the previous one, Or at least not always

So with the new toy line you have to have a new story and if it’s a new story what’s the point of rehashing

I wasn't aware they even had any origins. They just kinda EXIST... Even the Solus Prime thing isn't really an origin, they didn't come from her, she just happens to be the first fembot.

There isn't really an origin for why some transformers are female just like there's no explanation for why some humans are female. It's just pure chance.

Granted we actually need males and females to reproduce while Transformers have two genders for no reason at all.

Also it's stated that while humans basically have a 50/50 chance at being male or female. For transformers it's 1/13 chance of a Transformer being female. Males are much more common among their species. It's a good thing they don't reproduce like we do cause having only one woman for every twelve men would be total hell.

Agreed. No explaining at all. Starting explain fembots means that other things need to be explain.

Robots don't, which is the point. There isn't a solid reason to have biological gender or sex in TFs. Do cars fuck to make more cars? Nope, neither do robots. Same same.

It depends on the continuity. In some transformers universes they're metallic organism with cells and genes. You can't call them robots since that bots don't have genes and cells. I can see them having a bio gender/sex. However, even in those universes, they still don't be banging on each other ( too bad someone on DA thinks that it's cannon).

Don’t take my response as “pro robo sex”, because No....just no, but that analog doesn’t quite fit with transformers because they aren’t lifeless cars

They are an alien race, living beings who’s biology may just only look robotic

They would have to adopt a system like in Robert Heinlein's The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.

Why stop at femme bots? Let's explain everything else. Sometime no explaination is better then having ond. Sometimes an explaination will just bring out more questions.
