Which was your favourite many-on-one fight in the trilogy?

    TFilm1 Brawl vs the Autobots
ROTF Optimus Prime vs the Decepticons
DOTM Sentinel Prime vs the Autobots

For me it's ROTF. "I'll take you ALL on!" is :bay .

Forest Fight, followed by Autobots vs Brawl.

    Hell, all three deserve recognition.

Forest fight, only because the all-against-Sentinel fight was so damn brief.

Forest fight. The only dialogue that tops that mid fight exchange between Megatron and Optimus is "time to find out".

Forest fight. Sentinel Prime vs. the Autobots was a close second. The wreckers pelted him with epic weaponry.

The Wreckers were never even in the same shot as Sentinel.

    Roadbuster was.

He's supposed to be so big and yet he's so small.

TF1 Brawl vs Autobots ; transformations and special abilities of each character were so well choreographed into screenplay.

None of the other scenes have those elements integrated into one string of cohesive shots, despite the fact the camera framing could use some tweaking.

I can't stand the forest fight because Megatron was far too weak. He had two other Cons backing him up and he was still losing until Sam distracted OP.

While I don't like the fact that the only capable villain with enough screen time in the sequels was an Autobot, I just liked him so much more than Brawl because his motives go beyond "kill because it's fun".

I really hate the fact that the Autobots don't give a shit about Cybertron or peace and was glad to see them get their arses handed to them by someone who does. Even if that person went too far. I always like a good villain.

So Sentinel VS Autobots for me.

Did you ever think that maybe Megatron was losing badly because he was still trying to get used to his new body?

He had two other Cons as backup and they were still losing.

The fight actually goes both ways a few times. If you look in the background while Screamer is chasing Sam, you see Megatron knocking Prime to the floor with a hefty smack. He took the prior beatdown (including a punch so hard it sank into his back) and still managed an effective retaliation. It's only when he chased after Sam that Prime had the opportunity to tackle him. Optimus is brutal in his attacks, but Megatron absorbed the hits like a sponge.

The IMAX scene has the Decepticons working better; Starscream hits Optimus while he's fending off Megatron, allowing Grindor to jump in for his own attack. By the time Optimus gets out of Grindor's grip, Starscream is already sawing at him, and when he manages to fight off Screamer, Megatron lunges in with his own attack. They are literally knocking Prime about like a rag-doll.

When he has had it with their crap and launches a counter-attack, we see Prime using his momentum of attacking Screamer to not only back-hand Grindor when he wouldn't expect it, but also fling Screamer into Megs to hamper his approach. He sends Grindor's arm into Megs, tricks Screamer into shooting Grindor, and dodges Megs to head-butt Starscream. He's turning the Decepticon's attacks against each other, weakening and separating them so he can attack them one at a time rather than getting swarmed. By the time Starscream rejoins the fight, Prime has knocked over Megs and can focus on him, and by the time Grindor recovers, Prime has dealt with Screamer and finishes him off.

When the 'Cons were winning, they were knocking Prime from one attacker into another, preventing him from any effective counter-attack. When Prime was winning, he clustered them together, turning their attacks against each other. Effective strategies on both sides.
