I'm a fan of helicopters. I'm doing my best to have at least one version of every mold made so far in the various lines. Which is your favourite? Is there any Helicopter character that you still want to be made/re-done? (e.g Sandstorm, Vortex etc etc)

Not technically a helicopter, but I have a soft spot for G1 Highbrow. I also think ROTF Legends Springer is ace, probably due to his resemblance to Highbrow...

G2 Powerdive. He might be a brick as a robot, but his copter mode is fantastic.

Energon Bulkhead is one of the best, if not the best, helicopter molds. And I also love G1 Spinister. He is a brick, but both his alt and robot mode are awesome. Plus he's a targetmaster.

G1 Whirl and Movie Blackout for me. My pet peeve about heli Transformers is when their rotors are too short when in vehicle mode That really irked me about E Bulkhead, because the rest of him looked great. These two however had them spot on.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for 'em Makers to release a Classics/Universe/Generation Springer that could topple FP's. :lol

Agreed. It was also the first um... "factory acquired" figure I was ever able to review, so I have a special fondness for it. But I'll say Quickstrike had the better paint job.

Quickstrike has the best colors, but the Bulkhead/Quickstrike mold is the best IMO.

I like Cybertron Evac. I prefer his colour scheme to Blades and Springer.

I'd vote for Classics 2.0 Springer (Cybertron Evac.). Not much to complain about on that one.....a perfectly competent mold.

I like the Cyb. Evac mold. I have it as Spinger and Blades, and both are awesome. I like the Blackout mold, in heli mode, but the robot mode leaves something to be desired. IMO.
I also like g1 Sandstorm. His heli mode is very well balanced and has a nicely realistic look and feel to it. G1 Springer has a nice futuristic look to it, and I think it would make a nice Airwolf custom. With Sandstorm though, total win. Autobot triple-changers = win!
