StarScream for sure. I could mention how he was the most determined transformer ever. Enough so that his ghost spanned more then G1. I could mention how he is severely conniving and underhanded, usually crying wolf to gain an upperhand. He was a scientist making him pretty smart, sadly he was also corrupted. He let Megs do all the work. If Megs won the war Starscream would have slaughtered him just to take over. He's that ruthless. I could say all that but when it comes down to it what I love about 'scream is he is the most evil, badass looking transformer I know from g1. He looks like a schoolyard bully. Meg's face made him laughable. He was my first tf and I could never get over how tough the box art made him look to me.
Character: Starscream Toy: Skywarp -- loved the black and purple color scheme -- it just screamed bad@$$ Honorable Mention (toy): Thrust -- I didn't know what the heck those things were on Thrust's wings, but it looked awesome. Loved his color scheme too. [edit]Holy crap, Skywarp's leading the poll! Who'da thunk it?
His conniving and having the upper hand on megs before being interrupted a few times tells me he is a methodical thinker moving the pieces into place to a point where they are at their weakest so he has a chance at Megs. The Mere fact he attacked Megs, someone more powerful then him, several times shows he knew how to manipulate him. Sadly he didn't have a chance to profile Galvatron otherwise he would never had died. When 'scream panicked it was an act. When Megs panicked it was real. Finally...Scream killed the autobots on the Ark.
its not a matter of thinking its a matter on what time continuum ur following..if u go by the cartoon there is no clear answer..at the scene where unicron reformatted the group tossed out by the rest of the decepticons in the animated movie there clearly for a brief second two cyclonus's formed from the damaged bots of bombshell n skywarp...i cant remember if cyclonus ever said in the cartoon i am the former skywarp or formor b-shell..maybe there was a scene where skywarp appears for a brief second after the fact.or visa versa...that could/would clear up the confusion...but that wouldnt make sense since all the bots that got tossed out got reformatted into some part of the armada..either a sweep/cyclonus or galvertron...u could base an opinion off of the comics which is a whole nother way of going about it..do you believe the Uk comics or do u believe the past or current version of the character..lots of branches to which you can hang ur theory off of...but for me i tend to stick to which version came out first and to me thats the animated movie...and which in return i have no clear answer... its either bombshell or skywarp....and u know what im happy with either of em..L8s...
Skywarp not purely for his colour scheme. Kind of like the thought of being able to transport/warp should the occasion call for it. Character wise my vote would be for Thundercracker. Kind of like how IDW is making him a sort of anti-hero. Going beyond the whole mindless Decepticon angle. Animated and the Unicron Trilogies were the only time I liked Starscream. They managed to make him a credible threat. He was a decent charater in the comics as well. As for the coneheads not really sure about them. Have not had a chance to learn more about them. Same goes for the Rainmakers.
Exactly... it's about time that Thundercracker got explored that way. It's just about one of the only things I like about the Ongoing currently... and to be fair, that all came out of McCarthy's treatment of Thundercracker in All Hail Megatron. I like that he still considers himself a Decepticon, and has that imperious pride... but he also has a sort of code of ethics he holds himself to. zmog
Funny thing, they could have promoted him better in the Season 1 intro if he actually teleported after throwing Jazz. Wasn't that like Blitzwing at the end of 5 Faces?
