I dunno, I happen to like every toy version of Shockwave. I can't really decide, but character-wise I have a soft spot for the Animated version.

Even though this makes me sound like a hipster, I like Astro Magnum.

Animated has both my favorite Shockwave character, and toy.

FoC Shockwave is really nice, but I'll wait until I have it in hand to make a final decision.

In my current shrine, my preferences are as follows:

G1- huge, and still has a presence after all these years.
    DotM- really a fun figure.
Animated- quad-changer that's actiually fun to play with.
DotM Cyberverse- not as bad as many think.
Alternators Shockblast- really nice, but feels fragile.
Action Master- not bad at all.
    WST- better articulation than G1.
    Kreon- cute.
    Mighty Muggs- novelty.
    BK head- same.
    (way down the list)
Energon Shockblast- I loathe the mold and don't display it with my Shockwaves.

I pretty much like most of the few figures we've gotten, but nothing tops this one for me.

G1 is as for now, still the top notch of shockwaves toys
the FOC gets second cause it's like a classics version, a more mature design, but it lacks the massivity of the g1
The animated gets third, it's probably to animated what was sixshot to g1, a performance,
due to the aesthetic of the serie, he is missing a bit of the character original design.

i love all shockwaves toys (talking about objectivity...:D )
but those three are the best for now to the character

G1 Shockwave is still the greatest for me. Animated comes in second.

G1 due to the bulk and simplicity in its design. Next will be Energon Shockwave, that gun arm of his is massive!

For me, first is G1 Shockwave followed by Alternators/Binaltech version a close second.

since this is in the Toy forum, I'll assume the OP Meant toy, I'd say Energon ( With his cannon replaced with alternator Shockwaves arm.)
