I saw that someone started a "Favorite Optimus Prime" Thread and thought I'd give props to the arch Nemesis.

My favorite Megatron is Energon Megatron, I just love the nods to G1 Galvatron, I know its not the same character but, hey, he's armed to the teeth and He's pretty big.

I'm sure my choice will change to MP Megs when He arrives on my doorstep this early April.

Hmm..... I'm not really sure. I don't actually own a Megatron, yet. 2-pack Classics Megs is pretty cool, and the upcoming WW Megs is cool, but his alt mode sucks. I'm going to be getting either one, but I'm not sure at the moment which to get. Peace out.

Toy wise.....Probably Classics Voyager Megatron.(until I get my hands on a MPC Megs anyway)

Comic/Cartoon would be War Within Megatron.

All three BW Megatrons. His character is just so cool! He's also clever, cruel and sneaky! Plus, he always planned ahead.

Toy-wise, it's a tie between G1 Megs and BW Megs.

I know I will be bashed for it, but I am a fan of Car Robots Gigatron/Devil Gigatron (I believe they were called Megatron in the English dub). The toys have some problems (loose), but it is an interesting take on the Destron leader.

Oh... I just answered the "Favourite Optimus" thread, so I guess I'll give this a whirl, too.

BWR-01 Megatron. He's not perfect, nooo, but he's damn cool, yessss. The original was always a pretty good figure, but the new head sculpt and especially the updated colour scheme makes him look MUCH better. Just wish they had somehow made his tail detachable and given him a proper hand... And he may just be my favourite character, him or comic SHOCKWAVE or Tarantulas...

I personaly think the original BW Megatrons head was spot-on (besides colour) to the show. Whereas the new head looks creepy. (and not in a good way.)

    No offense Booboo.

I really need to get more Meg figs before I can honestly answer. Out of what I've actually owned, I'd have to say my favorite is G2 Megatron.

This was another figure that just made sense for the time. They can't properly rerelease the old fig in the states without some mods, so let's go with something new. Hmm, if he can't turn into a gun, what's the next best thing? A gun on wheels! The articulation was decent, joints were solid (at least on mine), the cannon firing worked pretty well, he was beefy and...well, tanklike. He also was able to store missles in a couple of places. The only negative I had about him was his electronic voice box. "Megatron attack!" sounds more like a Grimlock-ism than anything Megs would say.

Now imagine if they did an M1-A1 Abrams alternator of Megatron...

Classics Megs. I like him even more, after some adjustments to his paint.
