Okay, first of all, since I'm talking about Toy Reviewers, I went ahead and posted this in the toy section. If this belongs else where, a Moderator or Administrator can feel free to put this else where, you won't hurt my feelings.  

As for the actual question, who is your favorite Transformers Reviewer and why?

For me, first and foremost is "dyansis", AKA Silverbolt. I adore that man, it's a damn shame he's been off Youtube for months. I love the was he does his reviews. Instead of him rattling off about how amazing the toy is and listing colors and shit I can see for myself, he gives an honest review full of humor. I love how he talks more about the personality of the robot in question and their role in the cartoons and comics and that just really brightens up the review. I could watch them all day.

My other favorite would be Peaugh. Dyansis is great for humor and older figures, but if I want to know if the newest toys are worth getting, I go to Peaugh. His observations and step by step transformations are the handiest and most reliable around, especially because he'll usually correct himself if he gets any part of the transformation wrong. I just love logging on and being able to take a look at him going through the newest figures before their even released!

Ben Yee. Doesn't do videos, but he's been doing it forever, and he goes really in depth about all of a toy's features.

for video reviews, it's vangelus, peaugh, thew, and fxfranz.

 

Rave1X, as he keeps the reviews short, sweet, to the point, and funny as hell.

 

Thew and Vangelus. They're both entertaining and funny as fuck, but they get the point across while they're at it.

 

I really enjoy Baltmatrix reviews for videos as well as Optibotimus , because he is just so honest when it comes to his reviews.

 

Peaugh!! His reviews have good production values and they've got consistently great content. He also reviews a lot of toys, so that helps.

 

Thew's my favorite, but he seems to be leaning towards giving up the reviewing "business". Sucks, because he was probably the best reviewer out there.

Close second goes to Baltmatrix. He goes into a lot of detail and he's one of the few reviewers whose voice doesn't annoy me for some reason.

I think a big reason why people like Peaugh is because he gets figures ridiculously early. He's a decent reviewer, don't get me wrong. But I'm sure his channel wouldn't be nearly as popular as it is if he hadn't started getting figures so early from his "secret" sources a few years back.

His Transformer Reviews are Short and Stupid. If he spent as much time Going over the features of his Transformers Figures as he does with his other Figures, I'd give a damn about his Transformers Reviews.

 

My favorite is peaugh.

 

Vangelus is the beast where he do Video Reviews.

 

It's true. Watch is latest video. He says he got a promotion or something where he records videos at his job. He does it so much that when he gets home he doesn't even want to be bothered with recording during his free time.

I mean, I get it. When I was a teenager I loved to swim. Then I became a lifeguard one summer and just hated swimming on my off time.

 

I feel your pain man... Still, I suppose there's a chance he'll come back to reviewing, though I admire the fact that he'd rather not force it and end up posting shitty reviews. He's a pretty classy guy, IMO.

 

Vangelus, Emgo, Optibotimus, and Peaugh.

Vangelus is the most entertaining.
Ben Yee and Dave van Domelen are the best text reviewers, but I often find myself just looking at the "overall" sections.
Peaugh is good if he reviews something I'm looking for, but he and I don't really collect the same stuff. He's my preferred reviewer, if only because he and I collect more of the same stuff than Vangelus and I do.

Optibotimus makes good reviews, but they're so damn thorough that I don't want to watch them. He crossed the line between "reviewing" and "Saving me the trouble of actually owning the toy".
