Titans Return Overlord:
Transformers Cybertron Overhaul for today:
Currently in love with Candymus.
What figure is this?
That large nlock actually looks pretty good as a sheild
Black Mamba Ares Nitrogen, an upscaled repainted and retooled Nitro Zeus. Nifty. If not shifty.
Cap'n Warm 'N Fuzzy today. Mr. Friendly by DesertDog76, on Flickr
"SPIT HIM OUT!"
"I SAID: SPIT. HIM. OUT!!!"
"Oh, Clobber! Thank Solus and Primus that you're alive!"
"Me Clobber not feel so good..."
"We'll get you all cleaned up and fixed, don't you worry!"
Thrilling 30th Metroplex for today.
Generations Legends class Skrapnel for today.
The latest in my series of ‘dirt cheap figures I bought for fun value’, it’s my top five fave Transformers character Prowl, shown here as his Cyber Battalion toy version. For a budget toy the plastic is surprisingly chunky, and that dark blue paint down the side in car mode is beautiful. The lack of ‘wings’ in bot mode isn’t a big deal, and he is pretty well proportioned. Transformation is laughably easy but as I may have said before, sometimes that’s part of the fun. Two main problems- firstly his articulation, while nominally alright for this line (he has knees!) suffers through not having elbow or thigh swivel. Can’t do much posing. Also, PotP Dreadwind has permanently ruined friction held elbow joints for me now. See that last picture? It’s not detached yet but I’m constantly conscious of that slight bulging at the joint/awkward friction fit and it does my head in. Hasbro have dialled back on pins too much imo. Anyway, a voyager scale figure, albeit fairly limited, of one of my fave characters for £12? No brainer.
The Last Knight Berserker
Planet X Vulcan/Fall of Cybertron Grimlock for today:
Inadvertently got two DotM Mindwipes today and I don't mind at all. No pun intended. I love the stealth jet design, the fact that he can carry the Skystalker that I also bought, the wing Auto-Morph gimmick, his slick as hell Bot mode, pretty much every thing but the terrifyingly stiff wrists attached to skinny transparent plastic cockpit-daggers. I can't wait to track down the Dreadwind and Smokescreen repaint set someday. Two Mindwipes, no joke. by DesertDog76, on Flickr
Wei Jiang M-01 Commander today.
In spite of all the cool stuff that we've gotten from Power of the Primes and Titans Return, I will always come back to Combiner Wars and these guys.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
