Continuing yesterday's theme of bad, over excitable photos take with a decent camera and set up, I present the Heralds of Unicron.




I made such a cock of these. You can't even see TR Galvatron's face properly. I think I need some sort like larger external viewfinder. I really struggle with the tiny one on the camera.

Anyway, I've been thinking about these lads a lot recently. When I look back these three were the most important thing to happen to Transformers since Shockwave and the Dinobots, at least to the avid TF:UK consumer. Obviously it helps that Furman fell head over heels in love with these three, much as he had with the Dinobots. From '86 - '89 it felt like everything was all about these temporal refugees. Sure there were plenty of other great stories, but they felt like pitstops. Everything was leading to Time Wars. These three will always have a special place in my collection, be it the CHUG shelf or the G1 shelf.

 

To be fair, with TR Galvatron’s mask I don’t think anybody can see his face properly, photo or not.

Yeah, Cyclonus and Scourge were a big gap in my collection as a kid. Owning the chug versions is yet another kid fantasy I can tick off as an adult.

That is an excellent combo for Misfire, I need to do that now too.
