The word he was looking for was "features". Or gimmicks.

This minus the die-cast. It simply adds too much to the cost and as of late it seems most designers are incapable of engineering the toy to include it in a truly useful way.

I'd also like to add mech alive. It's a nice gimmick that rarely gets in the way of the actual toy since it's usually just adding moving plastic bits in what would otherwise be a hollow shell.

I love minicons and sounds that are done correctly. The Headmaster included with Leader Bulkhead is magnificent!

I dislike most features because they impede the function of the primary figure. However, if I had to pick one, having a partner (minicon, headmaster, targetmaster, powermaster, etc.) is best because you get two for the price of one.

Depends. Transforming ROTF Leader Prime, he will remind you of who he is at least 20 times, just in case you forget. But if a fig has the transformation sound, it's pretty cool I guess.

My favorite feature of Transformers is... the transformation.

Best features for me are triple-changers and combiners. Mech Alive works very well too.

I hate automorph the most, it hinders the transformation.

Stop mocking the guy's spelling guys and get back to the topic please.

My personal favourite gimmick is the Automorphing. It's kind of fun to transform something and have other panels move around as well. Cyber Keys and Minicons were fun too, some of the mechanisms were truly awe-inspiring when they deployed, like Mudflap's Mega Crane Sword.

well its not a gimmick that is used any more or only in a limited basis and that the headmasters, targetmasters and powermasters, i could care less about light and sounds i want intuitive yet challenging transformations yet not so tricky the make you want to pull your hair out ( Im looking at you ROTF leader prime) and the Mini cons were okay as well
