Whats your favorite transformer sounds from the movie? Whether it be a transformation noise, or a yell, something. Mine is the high pitched cling when starscream transformers in and out of jet mode, but what are yours?

 

I really liked the transformation sound of Sideswipe in the highway battle when he was changing from Stealth Force to normal car (and at the same time he turns around). I think everything in that scene fit well along the sounds. Even though it's a very short scene, it is actually one of my favorites.

 

i really love the sound when the decepticon jets transform and change shape in DOTM , its a wonderful sound  

 

I like blackouts transforming sound and the sound when he's trying to steal the data in tftm.

 

Megatron's transformation sounds, especially the one where he goes "Werg gerg gerg".

 

So many good ones! I kind of like the little clicking sound that's sometimes heard during transformations...

 

That always makes me think of the ratchet joints the toys sometimes have lol.

I absolutely love the sounds any of the Transformers make, especially transforming. Each robot's transformation has a unique sound in it that carried over across the trilogy, like the "chkt chkt chkt!" of Bumblebee or the high pitched noises of Starscream. Megatron's rough and powerful clanging can even be heard still in his DOTM transformation. The sound effect artists did some fantastic work.

The sounds on the Paramount/Dreamworks logo and Title transformations are pretty cool too.

 

According to a behind-the-scenes video, those sounds were actually licks on an electric guitar.

 

I absolutely love the hacking sound in TF1 that John Keller played to all those people in TF1

 

-The transformations. All of them.
-Bonecrusher's opening shout.
-Optimus' "chu-LUGG!"-footsteps. (Wow, that was awful onomatopoeia...)
-Sentinel's "WHISH!"-noise that is heard when he swings his sword.
-Megaton's lion growls.

EDIT: Split Lip and his genius-osity.

 

Starscream's legs, Sentinel's sword, the underlying growl when Megatron talks, and everything I hear when Jetfire's on screen.

 

The sound of megatron's Shotgun is music to my ears.

Transformers has had so many nice sounds but the teaser for DOTM is my favorite. (2:05)

 

That entire trailer is filled with nice sounds (and music).   But yes, 2:05 is quite the poignant noise.

Movie 1:
-Bonecrusher's yell when he first transforms.
-Megatron's Cybertronian garble that sounds like a distorted "Curse You."

Movie 2:
-The noise that the Fallen makes when he flutters the little fins around his neck.
-During the interrogation scene, Starscream attempts to frighten Sam&co whilst spitting some Cybertronian that sounds suspiciously like "Grazie"
-The protoform army's first words in Egypt. It's in Cybertronian, so I can't describe it any way other than how it was pronounced > "Dohn-daata kii'an." I really like that noise.
-That Velociraptor-like trill in the desert where Lennox is describing the current strategy as the Protoforms close in.

Movie 3: Good lord, such a multitude of memorable sounds to choose from.
-Any noise the ships make.
-Starscream before he transforms to jet mode to assassinate the Autobots
-That victory cry the Decepticons made when they realized victory was imminent.
-Shockwave's shrieking mandibles of death.
-Any of the Driller's noises

 

Starscream's walking sound is pretty cool and unique.

 

i can't decide they're all so epic

 

Grindor's death noise and Bonecrusher's grunts are the most memorable sounds for me. Also, the noise the titles make at the start of the movie when the text forms after Optimus' speech.
