    If comics count, then G2.

    If not, then G1, with Animated and Beast Wars close behind. If those series had been longer, who knows? Both seemed to get really good right before the end, where G1 was on a downslide towards the end..
    IMO, of course.

    G1 especially from the movie onwards.

    Comics - Marvel UK G1 and all of IDW.
