    Mines Oblivion.

I was wondering if anyone else had a favorite. I'm not trying to start any debates on which is the best, I'm just kind of curious.

Chrono Trigger. All-time classic... though it barely edges out Final Fantasy 6. SNES was awesome for RPGs.

It changes between Chrono Trigger, FF VI, and FF XII.

Either Suikoden or Lunar. Probably Suikoden.

It would, probably, have to be FFVI for the SNES. I have played that game so many times and spent many hours leveling up the characters.

Xenogears. For all its considerable flaws, I still have a soft spot for that game.

That's a tough one. It would probably have to be between Star Ocean 2, Tales of Symphonia, Skies of Arcadia, and Grandia 2. They all have pretty fun battle systems.

I should disclaim that I would have given KOTOR2 the nod over the original had it actually been finished. Star Wars is awesome when it grows balls and does a credible job of misery, which that had almost relentlessly with bonus nihilism.

I meant all time so any system. And you pretty much hit the nail on the head with the PS1 comment.

Chrono Trigger by a mile for me. First thing that came to mind reading the title of the thread.

Helps that I'm playing it on my DS right now, yummy.

Forever be Chrono Trigger and FFVI.

I've played quite a few RPGs in my day, and none of them have really left me a sense of amazement as those two games. Super Mario RPG comes as a runner up. SNES FTW

Lunar series, Paper Mario Series, Mario RPG, Secret of Mana, and Valkyrie Profile rock my world.

I got a PSP just to have VP on the go.

Persona 3. It's madness to say something other than FF7/6/CT, I know, but there you go...
