    In any genre of G1, cartoon, toy, comic, or a combo.

    I have to go with Sideswipe. The toy looked great, awesome head sculpt, bad ass Lambo vehicle mode, and had an asshole twin brother.

    I almost clicked on Jazz for the poll because of his all round coolness, but then I remembered how much I love Sideswipe's character model in the cartoon and real world alt mode. I don't think there is anything cooler than that.

    i agree with Auto Morph about Sideswipe and jazz. i just chose Ratchet instead for his inquisitive side and gentleness.

    Also, Sunstreaker wasn't an asshole, it was just that the other Autobots were too wussy to recognize his genius!

    Swerve was a Season 2 Minibot, not a Season 1 Autobot Car...

    I went with Mirage, mostly because his toys have been absolutely stellar (G1 was standard goodness, Machine Wars/Robot Masters was accurate and fun, Classics was amazing and Alternators is easily my favorite Alt), and because I like his colors and alt-mode.

    Just out of curiosity, what's the criteria for voting here? I went with appearance and alt mode, rather than how the character is portrayed.

    Either way, I don't see poor old Trailbreaker getting many votes on this one.

    I prefer Wheeljack's car mode to the others too.....his car looks bad ass with the low grill/spoiler thingabob and sweeping windscreen.

    Jazz, hands down. His figure was my childhood holy grail until they came out with Fortress Maximus.

    Mirage gets an honorable mention, along with the brothers.
