He is a good figure indeed and on whom I place my vote. I wouldn't fret though. I predict some minor tweaks being made to him in the future, so that he can be the best he can possibly be. Right now I think the poseability of his legs is WAT too limited. There's gotta be some way to make that much more solid than it is now.

I also have Megatron, love him and WM Starscream, love him too! There all good figures and all well made. I don't play with mine much, to me they're more for display.

Megatron for the pure simple fact that for years before Takara did it nearly everyone here said it will NEVER happen EVER. Well the rest is history as they say.

Yep, especially when I picked up a 20th MP Prime (the one without the base) from TRU for £20 in the sale a year or so back.

I paid ~£90 for my Takara MP Prime though and he is worth every penny, especially when you consider the weight and metal content and how solid he is.

Plus he is the only truly G1 movie accurate incarnation of Prime.

Same could be said for Megatron, but I am too scared to play with him as he feels so fragile.

Easily Grimlock. Looks fantastic in both modes, unlike Optimus. I like all of them though. Megatron and the jets are just a little too fragile so I don't fiddle with them.

Optimus isn't perfect in alt, but when you add the trailer, he more than looks awesome.

I voted , of course, Optimus.

I said Megatron. But I have to say it's really a tie for between Prime, Megs and Screamer, because I have all three and I love all three. However, I really like how intricate Megatron and Starscream are. Prime is definately the best Prime ever imo, but there isn't much to his transformation.

I only own the 20th DVD Edition Prime, so I voted Optimus Prime. That is my absolute favorite Transformer figure EVER.

I actually think the Seekers and Grimlock have the best moulds BUT Prime and Megatron are the best size next to my BTs. Prime's alt-mode lets him down so it's Megatron for the overall win (and, you know, for Takara having the fucking HUGE BRASS BALLS to release a huge fucking gun knowing Hasbro would never want a part of it).

I own MP Optimus, Megatron, and Starscream. Starscream has to be my favourite. He has the most fantastic alt and robot modes. This IS Starscream. Nothing else matches his perfection.

Megatron has a really satisfying transformation once you have it sorted. He has his faults, though. The arm cannon destabilises him a bit, for example.

Prime is also the most cartoon-accurate Optimus there is. However, Starscream knocks him out the water.

I voted for Prime, but I thought about Grimlock for a second.

The best way to solve the problem of Megatron have a difficult transformation is to buy two.

Since it is the only MP I own, I picked MP-05 (I do also own the Hasbro Prime and SS).

I voted Grimlock, but it's really a toss-up between Grim and Optimus. I prefer the simpler, sturdier designs to the more complex, fiddly, and fragile.

Megatron. The gun part weighs his arm down and I wouldn't dare transform him to gun mode...but getting a huge G1 Megs with gun mode that actually looks like him (other than the Henkei version) is wonderful.
