For me it's HFTD. No contest. That line had so many great molds. I have several of them.

HFTD, they really put out some of the best in that line.

From what I've experienced, it would have to be Revenge of the Fallen, with Hunt for the Decepticons in close second.

HFTD gets my vote by default solely because of Leader Starscream and the couple of shoehorned Classics-verse figures.

RotF/NEST. Lot of my favorite molds came from there; Lockdown, Skystalker, Mindwipe, Ransack, Legends Devastator.

It also went about at a great pace. No drought like TF1, no distribution troubles like HftD, and no taking over 6 months for characters that should have been out on Day 1 like DotM.

HFTD gave us Seaspray, who is great. ROTF comes second as it gave us Bludgeon.

This for sure. Tons of great figures came from these combined lines. I like some of the movie 1 and DOTM stuff but my favorite movieverse figures are from ROTF and HFTD.

    (4) TFTM07 - Had a number of problems due to being the first line using the movie style. Many characters whose toys differed wildly from the onscreen versions, due to the toyline having to be designed before the Movie designs were finalized. Several figures virtually ruined by malfunctioning Automorph (Voyager Blackout, Classic Camaro Bumblebee) and the engineering wasn't quite ready to deal with the complexity of the designs.

    (3) DotM - More of a focus shifting to the Cyberverse class(es), in which I have no interest. Engineering is generally very good, but the Mechtech gimmick on the mainline toys isn't very interesting and the size of the Mechtech accessories lead to the Deluxe and Voyager figures being downsized. Also, less in the line I was interested in, due to the majority of returning characters having gotten a better toy in either TFTM07 or RotF.

    (2) HftD - A very solid line with some excellent figures and more Classics-style items brought in. For me, it's very close between this and RotF, but I give the slight edge to the latter because some of the concepts introduced during RotF (see below) have gone on to be very important in subsequent TF lines.

    (1) RotF - Some early figures with problems (Rampage, The Fallen, bike sisters), but the engineering had caught up to the complexities of the movie designs. Figures were also generally more accurate to their onscreen counterparts, especially returning characters. MechAlive was a much more effective, and less intrusive, auto-transformation feature than Automorph. This line has the distinction of introducing the Human Alliance subline, which has produced some excellent toys throughout it's lifespan. RotF also saw the introduction of the c-clip weapons system, which has continued on through HftD/RtS, Generations and DotM. As a negative, RotF brought us Tuner Mudflap, which is easily one of the worst shelfwarmers in the history of the franchise.

Seaspray was HftD, but the other three bolded ones were RtS...and Bludgeon was released in RotF.

    Er, yes. Sorry Doom.

My vote goes to RotF. If only for the new leader Prime mold it wins for me. Add to that the Human Alliance and NEST sub lines, voyager Long Haul, deluxe Sideswipe and the Twins and some of the best scouts ever made and it's hard to beat.
