Obviously, tons of awesome MMC Reformatted figures but definitely a shout out for Perfect Effect Warden.

Or he's just not a favorite...?

I wanted him, but ultimately passed hoping GT tackles him since I have their takes on IDW megs and optimus.

Is he more playable the GC's IDW optimus?

Some MMC's. Kultur, Carnifex and Tyrantron take the gold. I absolutely love them. Recently the I played a bit with their Tyrantron and fell in love with it (he's on my desk atm actually), so he gets the gold medal.
Other than that, GCreations Rebel is a absolutely magnificent figure. He's got his fiddly bits, but he's absolutely wonderful and gorgeous. He just exudes IDW Prowl's character.

    But I think Tyrantron wins.

I mean just look at him.

This lad and his mold mates are certainly favourites of mine.

G-Creations Tyrant is also pretty fecking sweet for 3rd party IDW stuff.

    So many quality figures...

MMC Cylindrus is a great use of a terrific mold
    MMC Tyrantron just oozes Megatron
    Maketoys Rearend is terrific
    MMC Spartan
    GCreations Rebel

But I think it has to be MMC Carnifex. Just so much brilliance in there. A real head-turner.

GCreations Rebel and MMC Tyrantron both look outstanding and I kinda want em, but I have those characters already.
The ones I was able to fit into my collection are MMC Kultur and the Generations Springer and the old Generations Brainstorm.

I have Gcreation rebel and GT Op Ex and I love them both. Also have GT J4ZZ on the way.

Other favorites that I want to get are MMC Tarn and Overlord, SXS Hotflame, and I think Cloud 9 Quakeblast as Shockwave in IDW was pretty close to his G1.

I’m looking forward to Gcreation Seekers and Ultra Magnus if they are ever realeased.

Hasbro also did a really good job with their thrilling 30 Springer and Brainstorm. I’m also using WFC bumblebee, he fits the RID run look, a lot of those designs are close to WFC. Probably grab Planet X Ironhide and Rarchet once they are out.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Grimlock that looks good next to Op Ex?

    I gotta go:

    PE Warden
    MMC Carnifex
    MMC Kultur
    MMC Cynicus

I’m not too particular they look exact to the art, but these all have the best overall look and playability for me.

I love my Tyrantron, but his altmode is awful, especially his "miner" mode. What the heck is it? A drill plane, for all that high altitude, high impact prospecting?

My vote goes for Fuuma. He's pretty much encapsulates what IDW's Sixshot was about - big, intimidating, but dynamic.

    MMC Carnifex
    MMC Kultur
    MMC Commotus
    MMC Spartan
    MMC Anarchus

Tyrantron's bot mode looks so great but the god awful alt modes have prevented me from getting it.

Funny enough, my 1st one literally was new - I opened it, and when I pulled out the figure, it popped out of the plastic and the entire body fell apart. I super glued whatever middle piece there was and it was fine, although the shoulders, wrists, and upper thighs were all as loose as strings in the wind. I’m on my 3rd one since then and none have had any issues, just the annoyance of his chest and arm pieces always needing straightened.

Never had issues with Warden, either, although I keep everything in robot mode and rarely transform 3P stuff.
