Batman thr Animated Series was a great show. But in addition to its music and dark settings, thr characters really stand out. Especially the female characters. So my question is: which female character from B:TAS is your favorite?

I love Harley. I'll always love her. She's a fun character with an interesting story. Plus she's kinda adorable. :D

Harley, easy. She's funny, she's loveable, and she's oddly sympathetic for a crazy woman who thinks the Joker loves her.

That said, I despise her costumes ever since Arkham Asylum had her in a "sexy nurse" get-up have overdone the sexy. She was perfectly fine in a jumpsuit that only showed her face, DC! Part of her charm isn't that she's as in-your-face as Catwoman or Poison Ivy!

It has to be Catwoman for me. Batgirl is a close second though.

I agree with all of this.

The reason I liked Harley among all other comic book females was because she wasn't done up like a streetwalker unliek Catwoman and her boobsplosion suit and Ivy with her increasingly less modest plant atire.

    Other: Talia.

It's the opposite for me. I never really liked her before, other than the one Mad Love story, which was undeniably great. I like her better since the Arkham games and new Suicide Squad series. She seems like less of a victim now.

Has Batman ever had an out-of-character moment where he just went gaga over any of his female enemies?

    Including in the comics?

    wat

Yeah, that victim aspect added depth to her character. Can't ahve that.

Seriously, how is being a barely-dressed accesory betetr than being a multi-sided well-rounded character?

    one-note doesn't equal well-rounded.

Every Harley story was exactly the same. She tries to get Joker's approval and Joker doesn't care. Over and over and over. YAWN. It's funny you think she's Joker's accessory now, because that's all she was then. At least in Suicide Squad, she's more her own character now. She also seems like less of a ditz now. Which makes sense, since she was supposed to be, you know, a doctor and everything.

I'm not telling you that you can't like the old Harley. I'm just saying I didn't.

harley and batgirl, but i think i am going with batgirl as my favorite.

Harley is a pretty awesome character, and it is nice to see a character that a cartoon created, become such a success that she's been adopted into the regular dc universe. there are a few others that have been, but she is undoubtedly the best.

but with that said, Batgirl was pretty awesome in this series. and it is too bad she wasn't in too much of JLU, like supergirl was. I really liked the episode with supergirl and batgirl, i thought they had good chemistry together.

it is a shame that batgirl was never in teen titans as well.

In that regard, my vote would go to Montoya. She was a billion times more rounded and developed a character.

This is tough but I'm going with Zattana. I mean for her small time appearence in the show she really came across as an interesting character in her own right. The others however are no slouches certainly not! :thumb

I hope you don't mean in the show.

In the show she was barely a character. Shit got one ep of focus where she was honestly just a generic cop hero and I wouldn't call her well-rounded at all.
