I have to go with Ultra Magnus. He was someone who other bots could look up to. Not to mention that being voiced by Robert Stack was awesome in the movie.

 

I'd go with Magnus he's a real humble hero and I can enjoy that. I'm not too crazy on how he's seen in newer material that shows him with a shoe stuck up his ass all the time but I can still enjoy seeing him.

Wheelie is a character that's gone from a joke in 2005 to a character I actually really want to see more of. The idea of a lost wild boy like jungle book seems really interesting. (it also helps that since 2005 we've had Energon IronHide, Movie Skidz and Mudflap and other characters who make G1 Wheelie seem fine if not lovable.)

 

Ultra Magnus is easily my favorite out of the '86 movie characters. He was like Optimus Prime, though I found him much more interesting. He also spent more time leading the Autobots than Rodimus did.

 

Pretty much my whole sig. Rodimus Prime is my favorite character.

 

Does Cyclonus count as a "New Addition"!since he was upgraded?

 

AND SEASON 4. And possibly the rest of Japanese G1.
