Ive only been able to stick it out with BW and G1. Some comics are good but I haven’t kept up in 15 years...

I just want a solid TF movie or show. I think the industry is profitable enough to hire an amazing team to bang something out for the fans on either side of this stuff. I don’t even care if it’s more Bay stuff, just make sense and don’t have the worst dialogue ever. And can the Transformers NOT be morons? What the hell was that about in the Bay stuff? The Transformers on both sides were knit-wits.

    The pole seems confusing

Both marvel continuities are both G1, and the US marvel continuity predates the cartoon

I also would’ve added one for beast wars/machines, the way I see it it’s really no different then dream wave and IDW

The beast cartoons was part of a G1 continuity that was a combined g1 cartoon and comic, But the bees shows never really fit into either exactly

    G1 meaning the cartoon only?

TFUK has pretty much always been my jam since I found out about it in 1988 or so. It's really only different from Marvel US in one thing (Bumblebee's change into Goldbug and two things if you count GI Joe being Action Force abroad), so they are the same thing as far as I'm concerned.

What’s your definition of pretty much?

The UK books and the US books actually differ in a few more ways

Well, let me put it another way; TFUK encompasses TFUS with a couple of tweaks and differences. Different parts of the same whole. YMMV.

    Hey thanks, learned something new

I didn’t know what ymmv was

But I have to disagree, the differences are to significant to say they are different parts of the same whole

Even marvel gave the uk continuity a different numerical designation then the us continuity

They are as separated as from each other then they are from the cartoon

Wanted to vote G1 just because of Beast Wars, but there's just too much baggage to choose it over Animated.

IDW wins first place for having the most expansive universe.

Marvel G1 makes it to second place for also having a large universe.

Aligned. Yeah, yeah, yeah, having War for/Fall of Cybertron and RID2015 in the same universe does create some holes, but I enjoy Prime, the games, and to a lesser extent RID enough to tie the loose ends with headcanon.

Sunbow G1/Beast Wars. The sequence of events and large universe is good, and I like the history within it

Animated. It's a change from the norm that I've come to enjoy, but it is an enjoyable series and has really good world building.
