Throughout the trilogy, we've had quite a few "funny guys" that have a either lightened or ruined moments of the TF installment. Who was your absolute favorite comic-relief character from the films and was their best quote? (Poll is up top)

Mine would be Glen Whitmann (Anthony Anderson)... there are too many great quotes to choose from so I'll say more than one:
    "SHUT UP, GRANDMA!!"
"No YOU shut up! Don't talk me, don't talk to me, criminal!"
"Nah man, Freddie Krueger has four blades, that's only three; that's Wolverine! Krrgh!"
    ROFL

    Honorable Mentions
    Dutch:
"It's a Cyrillic alphabet; it's like all the buttons you never push on a calculator!"
Dunno why, I just found that really funny.

    Seymour Simmons:
"One man... Alone... Betrayed by the country he loves..."
He's lasted three films and he still funny to me!

Simmons. He was at his best in ROTF, though.

Dutch was hillarious, but my favourite comic relief was Wheelie in DOTM. In ROTF he was annoying but for some reason he cracked me up this time around.

I would say overall, Glen "I ate the whole plate" Whitmann. Simmons and Dutch definitely had some great moments. I think Sam's parents were funny at times too.

EDIT - very honorable mention for Uncle Bobby B!

Dutch! He managed to be funny comic relief and an awesome badass at the same time. Not many characters can pull that off.

    "Tell Megatron....It's time to Tango."

    Laughed. My. Ass. Off.

One of the best "comic-relief sidekick" characters in the history of Cinema [in my opinion], I just love the character.

Dutch comes in a close second.

    Glenn in a close third.

I would have to say Bobby Bolivia from the first movie. He may not have had a huge role but it was the funniest, can't beat the great Bernie Mac R.I.P.

well, Simmons was funny in the first movie (specially with the words exchange with Mikaela), but the most funny to me is Dutch, man... this dude made me almost choke with popcorn! xD

Dutch. Throwing an ugly Russian chick down and pulling out a sawed-off shotgun and pistol is awesome.

Dutch, followed closely behind by Simmons and Glenn.

Overall, I'm going with Simmons. He's got the skills that come from being a secret government agent, but at the same time they're balanced against his quirkiness. However the others were all funny in their own way. Dutch initially seems like a flamboyant assistant to Simmons, but then we get into the Mexican Standoff with the Russians and BAM! He's got guns out and ready to take on the entire bar. Brains humming "We Are Family" while chewing on a nail makes me chuckle. Hell, even Leo had his moments here and there.

Definitely Simmons. Not only are most of his humorous moments actually funny, but he actually contributes significantly to the plot in all three films. Glenn doesn't add anything that couldn't have been done by Maggie alone, Dutch is mostly just an extension of Simmons and Leo...well, I still have no idea why Leo was in RotF at all.

Simmons wins by a mile. When you have Simmons, other comic relief characters aren't needed.

But I also didn't mind Glenn in TF1.

Leo, Wang, and Sam's boss were all characters I couldn't stand.

I would vote for Wang, but he's not there. In a close second comes Dutch.
