Lugnut and his P.O.K.E. How come all of my fav characters-- Obsidian, Movie Bonecrusher, and now Lugnut-- never get toys in scale with the others in the line!?
Starscream and Optimus Prime tie. Strascream is probably the coolest TF ever, and Optimus has got to be the second-most well-developed Optimus character since BW. But to me, it all boils down to the character's physical attributes (sp?lol): Starscream has those null-rays that obliterate practically anything that's not and Autobot. (Apparantly they're tougher than most earth stuff) He also has a bitchin' jet mode and the chin. His voice sounds great and he just looks badass. He's also really powerful. His toy is really accurate all this considered and is probably the best Starscream in the history of existence. Optimus has teh sex-axe. Not much else needs to be said but for the purpose of worth I will continue. He also has the grapplers, fire-foam, water cannon, launching rope-tier-uppers (I dunno what they're called) and even thought he's never used it, it has been implied a couple of times that he has an actual gun (gasp!) mouted in his arm. (and the fire-truck) He's got the classic Prime look (though I prefer his cybertronian form) the voice is great, fits perfectly and he has a great vehicle mode that's practical but not "ZoMg tAhT's Zo KoewL!!!". The way he gradually matures and gets more of a hang of leading over time is another thing I really like about him. Did I mention the axe? Because it is awesome. Honourable mention to Prowl for being awesome as well. Humans: Angry Archer for bad guys, Fanzone for good. Quest bots: For now, Wreck-gar.
I like Lugnut and Blitzwing as a duo. They remind me of Laurel and Hardy somehow. For overall favourite, at the moment it's Wreck-Gar.
Blitzwing, Jazz, Prowl, Ratchet, I have too many favourites to pick just one. And yes, their toys will be mine.
Very difficult question, as there are few characters (hell, none) I don't really like in Animated. Lockdown is definitely up there. Blitzwing, Grimlock, Megatron, Lugnut, Starscream all stand out as well. Number one is either Lockdown or Blitzwing...or Megs. Autobot: Grimlock with all of the others tied for second Decepticon: Blitzwing or Megatron Non-aligned Cybertronian: Lockdown, second is Wreck-Gar Human Villain: Powell or Headmaster Human Ally: Sari
So hard to pick one: Autobot: Bulkhead (Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Prowl close behind) Decepticon: Blitzwing (Starscream runner up) Guest Transformer: Wreck-gar!! Villain (Human): Angry Archer (Prof Princess close behind) Friend (Human): Fanzone Overall: Blitzwing closely followed by Wreckgar and Bulkhead.
What about automatons? My favorite would have to be either Tutor bot or news bot. Mainly for their Waspinator level damage taking.
Probably tie between Optimus and Bulkhead. However, I really like Sentinel. We haven't had too many Autobots like him.
Ratchet and Bumblebee. Ratchet is perfect - his characterization, his grumpiness, his link to the Great War, finally we get a toon Ratchet as awesome as Bob and Simon made him in the comics. Bumblebee because well, Bumblebee always ends up being my favorite. I usually love the kid friendly character archype. It took me a little while to get used to this version of him (he acts a bit more like Rattrap or Beast Boy than G1 Bumblebee at times), but I've grown to love him as the series has gone on, and meeting Bumber in person certainly helps. My best friend likes Prowl best - his love of nature/Budhist ninja thing, loner archtype, and his ability to question Op and not always be a perfect team player
Bulkhead, Blitzwing, and Starscream are my top favorites. But so far I like them all. Thank you, Animated, for giving us great characters and making it a good show =]
