Nelo Angelo in DMC was pretty awesome. The combat system in DMC was great but it was even better coming up against a humanoid opponent to actually duel with. It sucks to have great moves but only being able to use them on ******ed puppets and warped animal creatures.
defanetly i'd have to say one of my fav's was Emerald Weapon in FF7. AMEN! some of the best games were 2-d Side-Scrollers!
Any fight, Boss or not, in Ninja Gaiden is better than approx 89.978% of Boss fights from all other games.
Wow tough question, probably one of the Dungeon Bosses from Zelda (there are so many fantastic ones)....
GBA-Sora & marulixa in KH: Com PS2-Sora Vs. Xigbar in KH2*. *that was a perfect battle for me. i was about to lose and used the Drive Form(transfoms sora in to a cooler mode-thing) and unlocked Final Form and won the battle.
The End in MGS3, my favourite sniper duel in all of videogamedom Dagon in Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. if the game isn't atmospheric enough, now throw a giant creature into the mix on a stormy sea.
Bass in MMBN games. Hard bugger, but it feels so good when you can S him. A bunch of the bosses in Twilight Princess. They were very very cleverly done, and I like it when you have to think outside the box to beat a villain. Very unique. I know there is more, but I can't think of them right now.
I'm not a big video game person (probably only played a half-dozen all the way through), but the Tidal Wave battle was amazing. Not just for a TF game, but for any game. I know that Colossus game did similar stuff later on, but fighting a guy that you'd just fought in is awesome.
The End in MGS3 (although playing through multiple times I just wanted to get it over with). Ninja and Metal Gear Rex in MGS. The Berserker in Gears of War. Any of the bosses in God of War.
MGS3... The sniper duel with The End. Any boss fight from Shadow of the Colossus. (So... any fight from the game)
The end of Bionic Commando for the NES when you pwn Hitler. Also loved all the boss fights in Mega Man 2 and 3.
My favorite boss battle might be Halo2 when you verse the brute lord. He is insane hard on legendary.
I havent completed many games in my life so my list is stupidly short - Boss Demon from Doom II Cyberdaemon from Doom III Shodan from System Shock II Yeh, my gaming is pretty outdated
So many I've loved. Megaman 2 final battle. You have to think of it from the angle of playing it back when it was new. You beat the robot masters, you fight what is essentially a new sleeker version of the final boss in the previous megaman game, only to find there's one more level. You then go through a musicless cave then finally Wily jumps out of his trademark saucer and turns into some kind of alien and you have to fight him with the most worthless weapon in the game. Great final battle. More recently one of my favorites has been the armagoth (the dragon) in Zelda: Twilight Princess. It's fun fighting a bigass dragon and stabbing it in the back.
Star Wolf 2nd battle - Star Fox 64 Gannon/Gannondorf - Zelda Ocarina of Time dual with Gannon- Zelda Twilight Princess The water temple boss- Zelda Twilight Princess The sky temple boss- Zelda Twilight Princess Metal Gear Rex- Metal Gear Solid El Gigante- Resident Evil 4 The Village Cheif- Resident Evil 4 Thats all my favorites I can remember right now. :-/
