Since people are asking whats your favorite Batman actor or Joker voice and since The Dark Knight Rises is soon to be released i guess ill ask, whats your favorite Batman movie? the options only include movies that were released in theaters.

    My favorite is Batman (1989)

This was a tough one but I chose Batman Begins. I like the pathos and drive behind Bruce's becoming Batman. The runner ups are

    The Dark Knight
    Batman 1989
Batman The Mask of the Phantasm.

Mask of the Phantasm only slightly edges out the 1989 movie.

    In this order for me:

It absolutely pains me to drop MotP so low, and put Batman Begins right after (but all are oh-so-close). TDK is my ALL TIME favorite movie, and you can't deny what Michael Keaton brought to the role of Bats/Bruce Wayne.

    My top 3 are

    TDK
    Begins
    The Mask of the Phantasm.

Nolan's films just have so much depth, seeing Gordon actually act like Gordon is supposed act, and I would call it Gordon's film. I hated the 89 batman, it is just wrong seeing batman beat the joker on the death toll, I never did care for an origin for the joker, when I much prefure the joker to remain a mysterious character, it makes him even more insane. but I got to ask, where was Gordon in 89? Many probably hate TDK now and in 2008, because it went into overkill in 2008. But for me it was nice to see a batman film make this much impact for not only a critical acclaim, but on PPL in general, and it never stopped me from loving TDK.

TDK, and 1989 as a very, very close second.

My favorite Batman movie is the 1989 one. Hope no one kills me for this but I find The Dark Knight very overrated. I just never found it being a real Batman film like it was for the Tim Burton ones and even the ones made by Joel Shumacher. Well, one of the two he made anyway.

I'm rather fond of Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero, but it's not on the list.

Of the ones on the list, I'll probably go with The Dark Knight. Even though Ledger's Joker is not my favorite, it's definitely one way to go with the character. I think the story is more complete, well thought-out and satisfactory than the others.

I just don't think the previous Bat films hold up over time. Batman and Batman Returns are pretty good, but the casting is not great and there's too much Tim Burton in them.

I found batman 89 an overall poor film from a character point of view, there is way to much joker for my liking, to give the joker an origin was a mistake from burton. When the film is about batman/Bruce Wayne, we may is well not bothered having Gordon in the film, because he was pointless and useless in the film anyway

All I'm doing is just expressing an opinion, nothing more even it is rather unpopular. At least with the 1989 movie, it's something I can actually have fun watching many times over. For The Dark Knight, not so much. Do love Gordan in the Nolan films though. Him revealing to be alive and well in that film and helps taking down the Joker, at least the first time around, marks as my favorite moment of the whole movie. Plus, not everyone has the same opinion as you. If everyone has the same exact opinion about everything, the world would be so boring.

The Dark Knight is best. Batman Begins is second. Batman 89 is third.
