Okay, so a lotta games, mainly RPG's, let you choose a sort of style for character aka a "Class".

What're your guys favorate class in games? Tabletop gaming counts too. Some games will have a different name for a class, like a game will call a Healer a Cleric. So having a description of the class might help out too.

My favorate is the fighter. I don't need no fancy magic or gizmos to get the job done, I just need better and better weapons and hit the enemy head on with brute force!

Runner up is the healer. It's nice to backup the rest of the team and ensure they are still alive at the end of the day, depending on the game (like D&D) the healer is able to keep up with the fighter and be on the front line.

Ranger, Almost always. So I'm kinda torn on Dragon age because that's not an option, so I am going with Warrior City Elf

I used to play alot of tabletop RPG as well as games like Baldur's Gates and Neverwinter Nights, and throughout my RPG days my favorite class has always been the paladin. I like this hybrid class that combines both knight and cleric. Paladin was also the first class I picked for WOW, but when I'm not playing pally I'm gravitate toward tank and healer classes.

Generally some sort of fighter class. If not that, then some sort of rogue type, sneaking in the shadows, doing my thing.

For both tabletop and console RPGs it's always been thief/assassin/rogue type.

I'm big and pretty obvious in real life, but in game situations I'm a sneaky bastard and always try to go for the stealth option.

My main Oblivion Character was that sneaky he'd have emptied your pockets and stolen your trousers before killing you, without having been seen. As for Fallout, being able to pickpocket and plant live grenades on someone is always good for a laugh (quietly, from the shadows)

Warrior, straight out. Usually more towards tank than damage, but if I can get away with damage without getting owned then i'll do it.

The big bruiser. All about the offence and defence is something the "weak" care about. Unless i'm a tank, where my offence is my awesome defence :D

Actually for some reason the mages seem to have the biggest boobs nowadays. I believe it's magical enhancement.

Fine, anything with ranged damaged so the melee fuckers can steal all the loot and make me hate them. Happy now?

Gives me flashbacks of Champions of Norrath. It was like a god damn pinata. I shot the bad guys and the hoard would go and collect the loot.

I'm not beholden to any particular class, though I gravitate towards the martial variety. What I'm really looking for is versatility. I'm the guy who multiclasses out the ass and has all the dirty tricks.

An example, I'm playing DDO and my two characters are multiclassed. One is a ranger/rogue and the other is a cleric/fighter.

I like having options and not being typecast. If some approach doesn't work, I want to be the guy with a second and third option.

    depends on the game..

In oblivion(when i owned it) I made a lizard man theif.

in COD games I typically use the biggest gun I can and just mow people down with a flurry of bullets.

In Borderlands I took a soldier as my first guy.

I like either a well balanced guy or the guy with the biggest gun..

I suck at sniper most of the time. I can't hit crap. You could stand still and I'd still miss half the time.
