While I love G1 Devastator for his unique combination and original standing as the first Gestalt, and while Predaking is just ridiculously awesome, I have this rather irrational soft spot for Defensor.

I don't know where it comes from as I never had the toy (well, I had Hotspot and Blades) and he doesn't appear in the cartoon that much, but I just really like him.

toy wise Liokaiser wins, but he is not on this list, so i will go with my american g1 favorite:
Menasor, character-wise and toy wise as well, i always loved motormaster, and the insanity brings it all together, predaking second, g1 devs third

Mine would be RiD Railracer. I know it's a pretty common answer, but I really feel like they knocked it out of the park with that one. Three fairly articulated bots (they all have nearly all the right joints for awesome articulation) that combine into a relatively awesome articulated bot? Sure, he lacks some swivels, but he looks good, can move well, and has a gun and shield. I wish I had two so I could display both Rail Racer and all three trains.

I voted for Computron on the poll, since he'd be my pick of the ones listed. That's just nostalgia speaking, though. I had Menasaur and Computron as a kid (the rest I only had bits and pieces of), and as an adolescent, I had a mix of G1 and G2 Devastator... but I always liked Computron a lot.

I had a friend who had all the parts to Abominous. That one was also QUITE awesome. He also had the limbs for Piranacon, and while I had Snaptrap, I found him somewhere with absolutely no parts... so I can't really say from experience anything about that combiner.
