    Hi.

Next year, a new adaptation of the Fate/Stay Night franchise will be released in Japan.

Unlike the anime, which was mostly based on the Fate route from the visual novel, this movie will follow the Unlimited Blade Works timeline instead.

A short trailer was shown at a convention recently, which doesn't look bad.

Anyone else looking forward to it?

Watched this recently, out of curiosity.

    Wish I hadn't.

Not that it was was bad or anything, quite the opposite. But one scene in the movie will haunt me for weeks to come...

I knew that scene was coming (and that it could've been much much worse), but seeing it animated in full HD... Well, fuck you, Gilgamesh.

Then again, I suppose she had quite a propensity to be a violent brat...

Wish they would just kick off a whole new Fate Stay Night series with new masters and servants. That would be awesome.

Usually classified as "eroge". Hentai generally implies that the sex is the focus. In eroge, the sexual elements are essentially an artifact of the medium. They're included in the presentation because they're expected, and that's how these things sell, but they tend not to lose anything if those elements are removed, either.

Notable series in this vein are Fate/Stay Night, Utawarerumono, Air, and Kanon. I believe all of these have seen re-releases with all the sexual content removed, and anime series that follow suit.

Well, I guess there could be an anime adaptation of Fate/Zero (looking at Emiya Kiritsugu's war in 1994) or Fate/Extra (a very different kind of war, in an alternate universe 2032)...
